Hello all and welcome to my blog as I share with you how I spent my day. Hope it went well for you as well

Woke up at 6:30 am, prayed and went to the kitchen. Peeled and boiled Yam and few Irish potatoes with stew and packed in our food warmers. The Irish potatoes was meshed for the baby's lunch.

Prepared and went to the facility. Today's clinic was more than that of yesterday as many clients visited. Our department is a very perculiar one in the hospital as most of what we do is continuous counseling that means we talk practically all day. Having to encounter different people with different personalities and behaviors, we have to keep switching on our counseling skills as what works for client A may not work for client B. There are days we get overwhelmed with work and some days it comes and goes without stress. Today was a good day as we achieved a lot of work. At noon, I took a break to have lunch and also feed baby.

At the end of the clinic we always go through the work for the day, close gaps and ensure proper documentation were done. These are my friends in the clinic and we normally rest and chat before going home.

Today I chose to be happy despite the challenges faced and my boss also pointed where I needed to improve and I'm working on it as I know I'm a work in progress. Got home at 5pm really tired and needed rest.
