## A fulfilling day

Good evening amazing and wonderful STEEMIT family. How are you all doing? I want to believe all is going on well with you. I just want to share how my day was fulfilled which made me happy. You just stay tuned and read, it is going to be interesting

I woke up at 5:10am, said my morning prayers and proceeded to the kitchen, I sieved the kunun zaki (local sorghum drink) I made and packaged in small bottle and refrigerated. Then proceeded to heating water and boiled some spaghetti, made jollof spaghetti with boiled eggs for our lunch and packed in the lunch boxes. I wanted making pap for the kids breakfast but noticed I forgot to remove it from the freezer overnight to defrost so I quickly checked my cupboard, brought out Quaker oats and made for them, I was skeptical if they will like it, when it cooked I served them and voila, the finished it with so much joy, rushed to the kitchen to thank me and that pleased my heart.

## COOKER DEEP CLEANING

![IMG_20250228_072542_267.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmUMykxbDZbeJz6KBhQyns7gr1RjUdMnTMVJpSpzcXae9t/IMG_20250228_072542_267.jpg) I have been wanting to do this deep cleaning for about 2 weeks but haven't had the time till this morning, had to uncouple some nuts and soaked the gas racks in a mixture of liquid soap, vinegar and baking soda for few minutes and I used sponge to wash it, allowed it to dry before coupling it back. ![IMG_20250228_091140_322.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmb5GjKj3q8oRYAZwjHec96denKb2rDaufPYJ3FrPKV72r/IMG_20250228_091140_322.jpg) It always gives me joy to see my gas top this shining but you know as a busy mom with lots of house chores, I just clean the surfaces everytime I cooked since I can't do deep cleaning everyday. When I was done, I made some oats for myself and hubby, we ate it along side akara he bought on the way after dropping the kids off at school. It was a heavy breakfast for me and it ushered me to immediate sleep.

## SALON VISIT

Woke up at 11:30am and called my salonist to know if she was available and she said yes, I quickly got prepared and went at 12:30pm, she lossened the old hair.

She was very gentle with my hair and that's exactly the reason I don't go elsewhere to make my hair. She took her time to wash my hair and massaged it to allow for blood circulation and she blow dried it. I asked her to make something simple for me as I didn't want to stay too long in the salon because I left my toddler at home with hubby and secondly the weather is getting really hot and wouldn't want to make a complicated hairstyle and she did well as I chose what I wanted and told her to play around it. ![IMG_20250228_184550_855.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmSa2qPdKH742spES9edxcRWCVa55e1p11E3c3nkC7yCgG/IMG_20250228_184550_855.jpg)

She was done and at 6:20 pm I arrived home, quickly washed up and went to the kitchen to do the dishes, fried some yam, sweet and Irish potatoes and fish sauce which we ate for dinner, cleaned up and bath the kids, also had my bath and rested a bit while I wrote about my diary and this was how I spent my day filling fulfilled.
