## Busy Morning

Hello @everyone, and how was your day?? Welcome to my diary game as I walk you through how I spent my day filled with love and satisfaction.

I woke up at 4am, said my prayers and headed to the kitchen. Heated some water and made Pap,allowed to cool for the kids to take as breakfast. Usually I wake up at 5am but today was different reason being that I had to make a big pot of kunun gyada (groundnut drink mixed with rice) for my former colleagues at work. ## Today's lunch

For our lunch today I boiled pasta and served with stew, packaged in our food warmers and set in the lunch boxes ![IMG_20250303_055713_376.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmTCgpWgbyu5CHdKMiTVF3B6Yks4P949yPAdCtMExoGw9N/IMG_20250303_055713_376.jpg) Hubby helped me bath and dress the kids for school while I bath the baby and also prepared. Dropped off the kids at school, drove to the gas station for refill and went to the facility where I volunteered. I used to work there but due to the USAID waiver and so, some of us lost our jobs and I was affected. Since I'm not used to staying at home, I decided to be volunteering (helping my former colleagues) since I know the job. I love doing this kind of gestures to people knowing it makes them happy. And at about 1:00pm I left for school

## What I learnt in class

Todays course is on Maternal and child health. And today I got to know about categories of children which includes: age-based, developmental, special needs and socioeconomic categories. ![IMG_20250303_143644_528.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmev8nAhW5zwCdp5FDuaCv3UpLUMp88xnXJmBJSbwEXa9Q/IMG_20250303_143644_528.jpg) Also stages of growth and development which includes prenatal development, infancy (0-1year), Toddlerhood (1-3years), Early childhood (4-6years) middle childhood (7-10yeras) late childhood (11-14years) and Adolescence (15-19years). Also learnt about theories of growth and development and factors influencing growth and development. As the lectures was going on, my mind flashed to the fact that I'm currently handling infancy,toddler and early childhood as I have a child in each categories and I must say it hasn't been easy because no two children are the same. They are totally different in personality and I have to use wisdom in handling them so no one feels cheated or neglected and I'm still learning how to go about this parenting together with my lovely husband. Todays sun was really scotching and blowing hot air, when I got home around 4:30pm I got water from the gallon outside to bath my infant but couldn't use it, it was very hot. Had to mix with cold water and he felt relaxed. I had my lunch at 5pm, due to the hot weather, I wasn't ready to eat but when the sun started setting, I ate and it served as my dinner. Quickly made fufu for my husband and the kids,they ate and I did the dishes, all had our bath, prayed and retired to our rooms. And this was how I spent my day with love. Thank you all for reading
