We are all familiar with this popular saying that "half a loaf is better than none" Meaning something is better than nothing. This is a clear case of what #club5050 seeks to achieve. Steemcurator1 once said to an administrator of a community when #club5050 was being introduced that "50% of something is better than 100% of nothing.

When I first read the statement I said it would be better if I began saving 50% of my SBD or even 75% or even all of my earning in SBD thus club100 for my own capacity building than to spend all my SBD and get nothing in return.

The choice has been given to individual steemains to decide on what percentage of his SBD is to be used for powering up and what percentage is to be withdrawn. The exception to the choice is that failure to power up at least 50% of your SBD you consider yourself getting 100% of nothing.

Knowing these facts up to this point, I can then ask you which one you like, is it saving at least 50% of the SBD and getting some tokens as a result or transferring all the earnings of your SBD and being overlooked in terms of vote from the big whales 🐋.

Those of us who are in default of balancing our accounts are being encouraged to buy some steem to make up in terms of balancing their steem power in other to qualify for the use of #club5050 tag on their posts.

It would be on our own interest to sacrifice now and perhaps enjoy later or suffer for non adherence of the #club5050 rules.

The good thing about this new initiative #club5050 #club75 and #club100 is that it turns to build our own capacity in items of steem power and have control over our own accounts thereby reducing the over reliance of votes from the whales 🐋. This is because if the individual steemains build their steem power to an appreciable level they will make the community have their own whales 🐋, thereby curating for their own members who they recruit as newbies

Concluding, I will urge all steemains to position themselves well and adjust to the new order of powering up. This will help all of us to grow together.
