Sometimes trees and flowers make me associate with people. Barberry is one of such plants.
Look... don't touch it. It is prickly, unapproachable, no matter how much you look after and cherish it. It is better to admire its flowers from afar. You can collect the fruits if you don't mind your hands and their taste, although pleasant, is sour. The thorns leave bloody wounds, painful and difficult to heal.

Шипы оставляют кровавые раны, болезненные и трудно заживаемые.
👥 Колючий человек, как ёрш. Вид-оригинален, но голыми руками его не возьмёшь. Подозрителен, в словах собеседника ищет подвох и готов сиюминутно нанести удар жалом. Неподатлив, несговорчив, негибок. Чаще другого слышишь от него "нет".
Встретив раз, в другой обходишь его стороной.
