Hoy ha sido un día de trabajo, así que no pude ver tantos videos como en otras oportunidades. Me desperté después del mediodía, siguiendo con mi mala costumbre por esta semana. Me levanté de la cama, me cepillé los dientes, busqué mi comida, y me senté en la computadora como siempre.

Today was a workday, so I couldn't watch as many videos as in other opportunities. I woke up after midday, continuing my bad habit for this week. I got out of bed, brushed my teeth, grabbed my food, and sat down on the computer as usual.

Desayune viendo un video corto, esta vez era un video donde comparaban el micrófono que tenemos en la empresa con otro de una marca llamada Neumann, este último micrófono cuesta 1000$ más que el que tenemos. Y la verdad, están bastante cerca, con un poco de ecualización pueden llegar a sonar muy similar. Me percate que el micrófono que tenemos es un poco más fuerte en los agudos, pero eso más que ser un problema es algo positivo en la mayoría de las ocasiones. Además, ahora tengo una cadena de efectos que pienso usar en mis grabaciones ya que puedo procesar en tiempo real sin crear ningún retraso en la señal de retorno para los músicos. He logrado que la combinación entre ese micrófono y la cadena que tengo preparada sea increíble. Me alegra ese resultado así que, estoy contento con escuchar una comparación de ese calibre y verificar que el micrófono con el que contamos es tan bueno.

I had breakfast watching a short video, this time it was a video where they compared the microphone we have in the company with another one from a brand called Neumann, this last one costs 1000$ more than the one we have. And the truth is, they are quite close, with a little bit of equalization they can get to sound very similar. I noticed that the microphone we have is a little stronger in the treble, but that more than being a problem is something positive in most cases. Also, I now have a chain of effects that I plan to use in my recordings since I can process in real-time without creating any delay in the return signal for the musicians. I've managed to make the combination between that microphone and the chain I have prepared to be incredible. I'm glad about that result so I'm happy to hear a comparison of that caliber and verify that the microphone we have is so good.

Luego de esto, estuve haciendo un favor en Premiere, necesitaba convertir una imagen en formato de video, no me tomó mucho tiempo, pero cualquier excusa es buena para abrir Premiere. 😅

After this, I was doing a favor in Premiere, I needed to convert an image into a video format, it didn't take long, but any excuse is good to open Premiere. 😅

Después empecé a trabajar en unas tareas que tenía pendientes, mientras estuve escuchando algunas canciones de Papa Roach. La verdad es que, es una de las primeras bandas de las que me hice fan siendo prácticamente un niño. Hace poco los escuché de nuevo y re-conecté con su música, son una banda increíble, siguen siendo tan emocionantes para mí como lo eran cuando era pequeño.

Then I started to work on some tasks I had pending, while I was listening to some Papa Roach songs. The truth is, it's one of the first bands I became a fan of when I was practically a kid. I recently listened to them again and reconnected with their music, they are an amazing band, and they are still as exciting to me as they were when I was a kid.

En este proceso, se hizo la hora de empezar mi práctica de canto. Preparé el micrófono, los equipos, y empecé con la práctica. Hoy al igual que los últimos días, me tocó chequear de nuevo mi técnica, al parecer, la he venido descuidando y por eso en los primeros intentos me ha costado, luego corrijo y todo empieza a salir bien. Ya me he dado cuenta de todo esto y trabajaré específicamente en eso, me fue bien, pero aún no es suficiente para pasar de nivel. Creo que esto será un trabajo de semanas y quizás meses, para que todo salga de la manera más natural posible e internalisar todo este conocimiento. De todas maneras, en el transcurso, he ido conociendo más mis capacidades y ciertas características interesantes de mi voz que me gustan, eso es positivo.

In the process, it became time to start my singing practice. I prepared the microphone, the equipment, and started the practice. Today, as in the last days, I had to check my technique again, apparently, I have been neglecting it and that is why in the first attempts it has been difficult, then I correct it and everything starts to go well. I have already realized all this and I will work specifically on it, it went well, but it is still not enough to pass the level. I think that this will be a work of weeks and maybe months for everything to come out in the most natural way possible and to internalize all this knowledge. Anyway, in the course, I have understood more my abilities and certain interesting characteristics of my voice that I like, which is positive.

Luego de la práctica de canto, empecé mis ejercicios. Hoy era día de piernas, como la vez pasada sentía que estaba mucho más cómodo con el peso decidí aumentar el peso, me fue muy bien, me cansé mucho eso si 😅 pero valió la pena.

After the singing practice, I started my exercises. Today was a legs day, as last time I felt that I was much more comfortable with the weight I decided to increase the weight, it went very well, I got very tired 😅 but it was worth it.

Después de los ejercicios, me bañé, comí viendo un video de GaryVee donde compartía espacio con uno de los protagonistas de Impractical Jokers, una serie de TV de cámara oculta muy famosa. Se me hizo muy interesante saber la historia de esta persona. Tenía un trabajo muy normal, podríamos decir que era una persona súper común, junto a sus amigos empezaron a grabar estos episodios antes o después de salir del trabajo, no dormían mucho o pasaban del trabajo común a la producción de los videos directamente. La verdad es que era un esfuerzo muy grande el que debían hacer, pero el programa terminó teniendo éxito y cuando empezó a despegar, no dudó en dejar su trabajo normal y dedicarse completamente a esto. Me gusta ver estas historias porque motivan un poco cuando sentimos esa presión de tener que lograr todo ya, pero requiere esfuerzo, creatividad y saber utilizar las herramientas que uno posee, me gustó ver este video.

After the exercises, I took a bath, ate watching a GaryVee video where he shared space with one of the protagonists of Impractical Jokers, a very famous hidden camera TV series. It became very interesting for me to know the story of this person. He had a very normal job, we could say that he was a super common person, along with his friends they began to record these episodes before or after leaving their jobs, they did not sleep much or they went from the common job to the production of the videos directly. The truth is that it was a very big effort that they had to make but the program ended up being successful and when it began to take off, he did not hesitate to leave his normal job and dedicate himself completely to this. I like to see these stories because they motivate a little bit when we feel that pressure of having to achieve everything already, but it requires effort, creativity and knowing how to use the tools that one has, I liked to see this video.

Al terminar de ver esa sección del video, seguí trabajando en las tareas que tenía pendiente. Estuve trabajando el resto de la noche hasta que me fui a dormir. Al parecer habrá un descanso con los diarios a partir de hoy, así que aprovechare este tiempo libre de escribir para reorganizar cosas que tenía pendientes. Nos leemos pronto.

When I finished watching that section of the video, I continued working on the tasks that I had pending. I worked for the rest of the night until I went to sleep. There will be a break with the journals starting today, so I will take advantage of this time off from writing to reorganize things I had pending. We'll read to each other soon.
