Da dopo la pandemia i prezzi dei servizi turistici sono volati in alto apparentemente senza controllo.
Come vi ho raccontato sto' operando in una struttura turistica in alta Romagna.
La Romagna ha sempre avuto come caratteristica un ottimo rapporto qualita'/prezzo.
Mentre il ligure ti inchiappetta e non gliene frega nulla se torni o non torni, il romagnolo ha sempre agito in prospettiva; "ti tratto bene oggi perche' voglio che ritorni il prossimo anno".

In questo modo centinaia di pensioni romagnole sono sopravvissute per decenni navigando nel difficile mare dell'offerta turistica.
Ora pero' pare che anche qua' i prezzi siano una scheggia impazzita senza piu' controllo.
lasciamo perdere il costo del soggiorno in una struttura tipo quella in cui sono...molto alto.
In qualunque ristorante in zona, per una insalata di mare dove il 50% e' composto da verdura ci vogliono 20 euro, 40 mila lire al vecchio conio.
Un piatto di spaghetti con le vongole uguale, a volte le vongole le devi cercare come il minatore cerca la vena d'oro.

Una famiglia di 4 persone che esce a cena ne fa per 200 euro a bere vino sfuso, perche' se prendi una bottiglia il prezzo sale.
Gli stranieri ancora accettano questo stato di cose, chi viene in Italia solitamente e' un turista che puo' permetterselo quindi spende senza troppo starci a pensare, anche se pure questo tipo di turismo inizia a stare attento a tutto.

L'italiano?
Intanto ha ridotto drasticamente la vacanza, oramai si parla di una settimana con eventualmente qualche toccata e fuga nei week end.
La classica giornata al mare con partenza dalla citta' e vaschetta col vitello tonnato e' quasi estinta.
Puoi anche portarti tutto da casa ma fra benzina. autostrada, spiaggia e qualcosa al chiosco rischia di partirti un capitale.
Quindi posso dirvi che l'aumento dei prezzi sta' incidendo negativamente sul numero di turisti che vedo, e' una tendenza che c'e' da qualche anno e che sicuramente andra' ad inasprirsi in futuro.

Romagna has always been characterized by excellent value for money.
While Ligurians snatch you up and don't care whether you return or not, Romagnols have always acted with a long-term perspective: "I'm treating you well today because I want you to come back next year."

In this way, hundreds of Romagna guesthouses have survived for decades, navigating the challenging sea of tourism.
Now, however, it seems that even here, prices are spiraling out of control.
Let's leave aside the cost of staying in a facility like the one I'm in...very high.
In any restaurant in the area, a seafood salad where 50% of the ingredients are vegetables will set you back 20 euros, 40,000 lire in the old currency.
A plate of spaghetti with clams is the same; sometimes you have to search for clams like a miner searches for gold.

A family of four going out to dinner can spend €200 on cask wine, because if you buy a bottle, the price goes up.
Foreigners still accept this state of affairs; those who come to Italy are usually tourists who can afford it, so they spend without thinking too much, even though this type of tourism is starting to pay attention to everything.

Meanwhile, vacations have drastically reduced; now they're talking about a week with the occasional weekend getaway.
The classic day at the beach, leaving from the city and enjoying a bowl of vitello tonnato is almost extinct.
You can also bring everything from home, but between gas, highway tolls, the beach, and a few kiosks, you risk losing a fortune.
So I can tell you that rising prices are negatively impacting the number of tourists I see. It's a trend that's been going on for a few years now and will surely worsen in the future.
