My selected vegetables include chichinga, butternut squash, papaya, and carrots. For a Chinese vegetable recipe, I cut the vegetables into thin slices. I gently peeled the butternut squash, keeping the green part, and then cut it into thin slices. After boiling the vegetables for about two minutes, I immediately removed them and put them in ice-cold water.
