This is @isha-rehman and I hope you are all doing well. I am happy to be participating in the 25th edition of the Steemit Engagement Challenge for the 5th week challenge where the task is to create a delicious Biscuit Pudding. I have had a blast making this dessert and I am excited to share the entire process with you all. So let get started.
Ingredient I Used:
For this Biscuit Pudding I carefully selected the following ingredients:
200g Biscuits
70g Sugar
50g Butter
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
25g Cocoa Powder
3 tsp Milk Powder
100ml Water
50g Chocolate
Cashew Nuts
Step by Step Process:
1.Breaking the Biscuit:
The first thing I did was take the biscuit and break them into small bite sized piece. I made sure to break them into irregular piece so they mix well with the cocoa mixture and absorb the flavor evenly. I place these broken biscuit into a clean large bowl. The biscuit form the foundation of our dessert so it important to break them into smaller pieces for the perfect texture.

2.Preparing the Cocoa Mixture:
In a separate pot I combined the sugar cocoa powder and milk powder. These dry ingredients were mixed well before I added 100ml of water. I placed the pot on the stove over medium heat stirring occasionally. As the mixture began to heat up and come to a gentle boil I add the butter and vanilla essence. The butter melt into the mix and the vanilla gave off a sweet warm aroma that fill the kitchen. After mixing everything thoroughly I remove the pot from the stoved and let the mixtured cool down a little.

3.Combining the Biscuits with the Mixture:
Once the cocoa mixture had cool to room temperature I start add the broken biscuit bit by bit into the pot. I mix them gently so the biscuit could soak up all the chocolatey goodness. This step is important because the biscuit need to absorb the flavor of the cocoa and milk mixture which will give them that rich pudding like consistency.

4.Pressing the Mixture:
After all the biscuits had been added I pressed the sticky chocolate-coated biscuit mixture into a tray. I used a spoon to make sure the mixture was even and well-packed. Once the mixture was nicely pressed down I placed the tray in the refrigerator to set for about 10 minutes. This will help the pudding firm up making it easier to slice later.
5.Melting the Chocolate:
While the pudding was setting I worked on the chocolate layer. I used the double boiling method to melt the 50g of chocolate. I place the chocolate in a bowl over a pot of simmering water and stir it until it became smooth and glossy. Once melt I took the chocolate off the heat and set it aside to cool slightly.
6.Pouring the Chocolate Layer:
After the pudding had set for about 10 minute I tooked the tray out of the fridge and pour the melt chocolate over the pudding layer. I made sure to spread it evenly with a spatula so that every corner of the pudding had a smooth glossy finish.
7.Decoration:
To add a little extra flair I decide to top my Biscuit Pudding with some almonds. The crunchy almonds were a perfect contrasted to the smooth sweet pudding. The almonds add texture and made the dessert look even more appealing.

Did I Enjoy My Biscuit Pudding?
Oh my goodness YES I absolutely love my Biscuit Pudding. The texture was incredible soft and creamy from the cocoa mixture with a slight crunch from the biscuit. The melt chocolate on top add a layer of sweetnes that perfectly balance the richness of the pudding. The almonds on top gave it that perfect finishing touch add both flavor and crunch. I could not resist try it and I end up sharing it with my family. They were all amaze by how delicious and simple it was to make. We all agree that it was a great dessert especially for a quick treat when you dont want to baked.
