For this week's anime drawing SC S25W5 challenge, I choose to draw a very beautiful and unique character Hina Amano from Tenki no Ko( Weathering With You). Her blueprint reflects the substance of the realistic anime style — soft features, emotional expressions, and natural proportions. This challenge was both instigative and a great occasion to upgrade my shading ways and concentrate on proportions.

✏️ Step- by- Step Sketching Process

1. Basic Face Structure

In the very first step I start with outlining the basic structure of face and hairs and also draw some body features using HB pencil.

2. Body and Clothing

I also drew her shoulders, arms, and upper torso, keeping the deconstruction proportionate. Her hooded jacket and pleated films were added next, using simple guidelines for crowds and drapes.

3. Facial Features and Hair figure

I imprecisely appended eyes, commemorating them marginally major than realistic natural eyes but lesser than current anime eyes — preserving that “ anime representationalism ” equilibration. Her nose and lips were subtle, and I used a light hand to block in hair beaches, keeping the inflow natural.

🖤 Shadowing Process( Using Graphite Pencils)

1. Hair Face & Eyes

I shadowed using a 2B pencil, layering strokes to mimic hair texture. Highlights were marooned untouched or gently blacked out latterly for a fulgent precipitate.
I applied HB and 2B pencils for the look. I appended light murk under the jaw and cheekbones for depth. The eyes were precisely detailed with bright spots left for reflection, which brings the character to life. I gave her rosy cheeks using a slight mix fashion with my fingertip.

2. Clothing Details

Her hoodie was shadowed with 4B, fastening on crowds and shadow direction. I made sure to add gradational transitions between light and dark areas, especially around the pleats of the films, to pretend the fabric's inflow and weight.

✨ Final Result & Selfie

Then’s the final interpretation of my delineation, alongside a print of myself holding the artwork with my username and moment's date. I had so important fun landing Hina’s gentle look and natural expression.

Why I Chose Hina Amano

Hina’s design is a great mix of literalism and emotion. Her expressions, posture, and proportions are predicated in reality, making her a perfect fit for this challenge. She represents the delicate equipoise of substitute and potency, which I strained to mirror in my artwork.
