My Goals for the new year

To start with,as I welcome the new year some days ago,I was filled with a mix of excitement and uncertainty. Yes this year promises to be challenging yet rewarding as well as I will be embarking on series of ventures and a compulsory service year on the horizon. Firstly,my abandoned shoe business which I have been eager to revive,I think it's finally getting the attention it deserves. I have set a goal that will enable me relaunch my shoe business within the next two months as I will be Focusing more on creating unique, handmade designs that will capture people's attention. And to achieve this,I will dedicate at least 8 hours a week designing, marketing and building a customer base. In addition to my shoe making business,I have also been working on building a reputation as a skilled barber. This is because my barbing work has been gaining traction with a growing client base. So within this year,I aim to expand my services,as I will also invest in new equipments and explore opportunities for collaboration and workshops too I know my plans will be out to test as I will be embarking on my compulsory service year,as it will require me to dedicate a significant amount of my time and energy in serving my community and country at large. Though it may pose some challenges to my business ventures,I am determined to make the most out of this experience as I will be using it as an opportunity to also develop need skills, build connections as well as gaining a deeper understanding of my community. Now to balance this my multiple commitments,I will have to be strategic when it comes to time management. And below is how I plan to navigate this busy year.👇 ▶️I will create a detailed schedule that will allocate specific times for my shoe business, barbing work and service year. ▶️I will prioritize task as I will be Focusing more on the most critical ones first. ▶️ I will also leverage technology in other to streamline tasks, manage my clients as well as staying organized. ▶️I Must not fail to seek support from my friends, family and mentors whey the need arises.

How I have planned to make positive impact this year?

So this year,I am pledging to volunteer at least few hours of my time to local organization which align with my values at least mentoring young students as I will be eager to roll up my sleeves make a difference. Knowledge sharing and Mentoring As someone who happens to be passionate about learning and growth, I would love to pay it back by sharing my knowledge and experiences with others. So this year,I will be mentoring at least three individuals in shoe making profession. Reducing my environmental footprint It's our duty as humans to recognize the urgent need to address climate change and protect our planet,so as responsible and global citizen,I am pledging to reduce my carbon footprint by making conscious choices about regarding my daily habits. Supporting social causes When it comes to social justice and equality,I am passionate about it. So this year,I am committed to supporting those organizations who work tirelessly to address issues like poverty, inequality,and social injustice. So whether is through donations, fundraising, which ever way,I am eager to use my voice and resources to make a positive impact. practicing kindness and empathy Lastly,I will be committed in practicing kindness and empathy in my daily interaction with people around me,as I will be more present, listen actively, and showing compassion to those around. At least me doing so will inspire others to do same.

As I look back on the things that happened last year,I am reminded of the numerous lessons I learned. One of which was the importance of self-care and prioritizing my mental health. Last year came with so much hardship that I forgot to take this easy which later telled on me and I swore to let things flow this year. You know, life is unpredictable as things don't always go as planned. However,by learning to roll with the punches and adjust to new situations,I have become more resilient, confident as well as being better equipped to handle challenges.
