## Life of a Dietitian

Life as a health practitioner is a journey filled with challenges, sacrifices, and purpose coupled with family. As a Clinical Dietitian at a busy institution, my daily routine includes attending, seminars, ward rounds, reviewing patients' nutritional needs, rendering counseling, attending to consult and attend outreach programs, giving health talk and many more. However, these tasks can be so demanding, but the seeing the patients improve gives me so much joy and keeps me going.

Many came with underweight because they think it's the best way to manage their sugar level and this breaks my heart, as it may pose a problem between the mother and child. However, being able to offer help, through dietary interventions plan, gave them a great relieve and hope. More so, I believe nutrition is a powerful form of medicine, and I’m proud of my career being part of that healing journey.

Attending online classes, reading textbooks, journals to stay up-to-date with the trends and areas of management. Not only that, I also participate in church programs, to balance my faith and knowledge and overall spend time with my beautiful family. They are my source of my inspiration. They give me every reason to keep striving hard for a better tomorrow. To everyone out there managing work, study and family, continue to strive, your story will inspire another. Don't give up👍
