The Enchantment of Lombok Island Tourism

Lombok Island is the largest island in the group of islands in NTB Province. There are 5 administrative areas of the city of Mataram, West Lombok Regency, East Lombok Regency, North Lombok Regency, and Central Lombok Regency. The island is only about 5 hours away by ferry from Bali Island. Lombok is also known as the City of Thousand Mosques. Because the majority of the population on this island is Muslim. The mosque is also very easy to find there. The distance between the mosques is close together. A harmonious blend of tourism and religion has won Lombok the award as The Worlds Best Halal and The Worlds Best Halal Honeymoon 2015 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The small islands that surround Lombok Island are also called the Gilis. There are 3 Gilis which are also a favorite for tourists to do snorkeling, diving and fishing activities including Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Gili Meno.

Gili Trawangan

Gili Trawangan is also one of the islands located in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. This island is also included in one of the islands located in the village of Gili Indah which has a super beautiful underwater beauty. If you are traveling to Gili Trawangan, you will not only see the beauty of the coral reef and its colorful fish but also its natural phenomena. Gili Trawangan also has a great place to see the sunset which is on the West Coast of Gili Trawangan. This beach is very crowded with tourists who want to see the sun back to rest. With the background of Mount Agung, the sky, which was also originally clean blue, slowly turned reddish yellow.

Mount Rinjani

One of the main attractions of Mount Rinjani National Park is Lake Segara Anak, which is at an altitude of 2,110 m above sea level. Lake Segara Anak is located in a part of Mount Rinjani which reaches an altitude of 3,726 m above sea level. This lake has an area of 1,100 hectares located at the top of Mount Rinjani is a favorite place for you climbers, the water flowing from this lake forms a very beautiful waterfall, flowing through steep cliffs. The beauty of Lake Segara anak is what makes us feel tired during the climb that seems paid off.

Senggigi

Senggigi is one of the beach areas which is a favorite for tourists. Relaxing and enjoying a truly charming natural panorama is indeed the goal of travelers here. The location is 10 kilometers from the city of Mataram. If taken from Lombok International Airport, this place can be taken for approximately one hour. The Senggigi beach area has been around since 1980, tourism has been introduced, and has become an icon of tourism in NTB. At present, dozens of hotels ranging from 3 to 5 star classes throng the area from south to north.
