But honestly, the match didn’t seem that interesting, so I didn’t watch it for long. I went back to sleep for a short while but made sure to wake up again without getting too lazy. I noticed that the rose plants in our garden had grown quite long, and the branches needed pruning. Since I didn’t have any proper gardening tools, I used a combination plier to trim the rose branches around midday. After finishing that little garden work, I took a shower and had my lunch. After a while, I felt like taking a walk and decided to go to the market. As I walked through the town, everything felt a bit lonely. So many familiar faces, friends and elder brothers have moved away for jobs or other life reasons. May Allah guide me to the right people who will bring warmth to this loneliness, and help me stay firm on the right path, even when I’m walking it alone. Because truly, Allah is enough for us. I bought a tooth stick from the market, then headed to the railway station. I found a quiet spot and sat there alone for a while, spending some time on my smartphone. Later in the evening, one of my friends called and asked to meet up. We met and had tea together at a local tea stall. After that, we went to the badminton court. When we arrived, the court wasn’t open yet, so we sat on a bench and chatted for a while. Once the court opened, we went inside. I still haven’t fully recovered from my knee injury, so I couldn’t play a proper match. I just stood on the court and passed the shuttle a few times. After that, I returned home on my friend’s motorbike. I had my dinner a bit late tonight.
