The mosque is not far from my house, making the call to prayer clearly audible. Alhamdulillah, this Wednesday morning, the fourth day of the Islamic calendar, Allah SWT still gives me health and the opportunity to perform my prayers. As Muslims, we believe that in Islam, Wednesday has several special qualities and significance. Wednesday is the day when Allah SWT created light. In the still-pitch darkness, I headed to the mosque to perform the morning prayer in congregation. Afterward, I went straight home for a light walk. Then, I took advantage of the time to lie down again with Raffa. At seven o'clock, I left for my assigned school, located in the Paya Punteut village area. Since I have my first period every Wednesday, I quickly left the coffee shop and headed straight to school. After parking my car, I headed to my office to take my fingerprint attendance. Shortly after the bell rang, signaling the start of class, I headed to the school yard to join the other teachers in directing the students to gather there. After a fun morning activity in the field, I took a moment to perform the Dhuha prayer as an additional act of charity for the day. Then, I continued with my various responsibilities until the midday prayer. I briefly fulfilled my Muslim prayer obligations. On my way home, I stopped at Raffa's school to pick him up. Then, I headed to a gas station to refuel my vehicle, which was running low.
