We have two shops, one is a pesticide shop and the other is a grocery shop. I had paid the dues of the pesticide shop in June, now I have to pay the dues of the grocery shop today. My brother called me and asked me to go home from Dinajpur. I also got ready to go home as soon as I woke up in the morning.
I walked to the bus terminal, bought a bus ticket, and got on the bus. And started the journey. I reached my place at 2.10 am and instead of going home I went straight to our market and shop.
The arrangements for collecting dues have started in our shop. Today, after collecting money from the customers, khichdi will be cooked for them. We are arranging spices and other things for cooking. The chef saw the spices and told me that he needs more spices.
I went out with my bike to the big market. I set off on a dirt road to take a shortcut. I am going through a dirt road after a long time and tried to take a picture in this very beautiful environment. I went to the market and bought spices from here, I bought big cardamom, white cardamom, cumin, cinnamon. Before coming to the shop, I went home and there I will go to the shop with chopped and pasted onions and spices.

I returned to our grocery store and the cook had already put out the first deck for cooking khichdi. Here, they were making the masala with chickpeas, moong dal, and lentil. I brought the masala and started working with them. One by one, I put everything forward for their cooking. We finished cooking the first deck. We will keep the first deck for some time, so we covered it nicely.
This time we will give the boiled eggs. I first brought the egg cage to the stove. First I put water in the stove and the water got hot quickly. I dropped the eggs one by one into the water in the pan. We cooked under the open sky, there was a lot of sun and wind, due to which the temperature of the fire was going from side to side.
When the eggs were boiled, we all sat down for lunch. We who had been working here since morning would all eat. We took out the khichuri and peeled one boiled egg and ate it with the khichuri.
Our second task is to peel the eggs. Unfortunately, when we were peeling the eggs, we saw that the egg meat came out. Someone was peeling the eggs and I was packing the khichuri with the eggs for the parcel. I will give one packet to each of our customers and collect the outstanding money. We ate a lot of khichuri from the first deck and sent khichuri to the house. I packed the rest and there were 103 packets from the first deck.
We will cook another handi at 4 pm. We are bringing spices for the second handi. The temperature of the sun is still very high. We first cook the onion and then the other spices one by one. I made the khichuri masala with it. Finally, I added rice and water, waited until the water boiled and took out the khichuri.
The shop in the village market is crowded with customers from our evening. Today too, people are starting to come to pay the outstanding amount of the account. I am collecting the outstanding amount after checking the account. This is the first account in our grocery store, this time the outstanding amount is very less than 4 lakhs ($3200). We are collecting our Phokan's outstanding amount till 11 pm. We have closed our shop account this time. Even after the shop was closed, we had some work to do, which was to store the things brought for cooking at home. We finished all the work and returned home at 11.45 pm. Today's entire day was very busy for us and we finished the day's work well.
