Hi there mga kababayan and everyone in this great platform! Good afternoon! Today, let me share with you my day at the grocery store and wet market. I usually do this once or twice a week because going out everyday to buy our food takes so much time and effort. Around 10:00 AM I already started preparing myself for my shopping today. It was already around 11:30 in the morning when I got ready to go. Of course, I will never forget the most important things to bring before going out or anywhere. I have my facemask, alcohol and face shield ready for my errands today. It was already almost 12:00 in the afternoon when I got there.

This is where I normally go to buy almost everything we need in the house since I took advantage of their reward card. I guess for every 200.00 Pesos worth of groceries, you'll get 1 point. It's not maybe much but if you'll be able to save up your points, it will still be a great help. Plus they also give away freebies of any kind depending on how much the total amount you have paid. They mostly give away, a liter of soda, big bottle of dish washing liquid, a tray of eggs, a kilo of rice, free gift certificates and a lot more.

To start with my shopping, I first went to the vegetable and spices section of the store to get some carrots, potatoes, tomato and onions. Then, I went ahead to get some canned goods, milk and the ingredients for my Maja Blanca. I then proceeded to my most favorite section at the store to get some snacks that I can munch during my shift and a few snacks for baby. I also took a few packs of microwaveable that I can use to organize the meat I'll buy at the wet market.

Unfortunately, it is not available at the grocery store. I prefer buying them from the wet market since there are several meat and fish stalls that I can choose from and I can guarantee that I can get them fresh and cheaper.

--- This is where I also buy more spices and vegetables as they are way cheaper as well compared to those from the grocery store. I got shrimp, pork, chicken and fish. Just 1 kilo of each is enough for us for the span of 1 week since it is only me, my husband and our 1 year old kid who are going to consume it . I also took a few eggplant, beans, red bell pepper, spring onions and garlic.
