I am not sure if t'was only me who notices how fast days go by and quickly month finishes. Imagine we are now on the sixth month of the year and half way through....

Anyway, we are in June and summer here in UAE is starting and just like Philippines, summer vibes are light, colorful and pure bliss.... and this pandemic taught me one thing, it is to celebrate **LIFE**. So we decided to throw a surprise Beat Day Party to our cousin @djjonas

We wanted to have that summer accent because for almost two years now, we haven't been to Philippines, we miss home so muchhhh!!!!!, so we decided to make it Piesta like!

It was just a simple lunch, supposedly a boodle-fight but for the safety of everyone, we decided to just arrange the food with serving spoon. Actually the banana, watermelon, Juice and of course the banana leaves boosted that summer vibes.

Who will say no with that fried Tilapia, how about Adobong *Pusit* (Squid), and of course, Adobong Adidas (Chicken Feet) - Yesss,,, that's LOOOOVE!!! Coupled with Buttered Crab Balls and fried Talong (Eggplant). Ohh yeahh,,, also the not so Filipino food but will always be on the table whenever there is special occasion, KFC Fried Chicken and Filipino Style Spaghetti.

Indeed a very Happy 'Beat Day' for DJ Jonas... but let's not forget the decoration part which was made by yours truly 😅

I do have balloons in my 'kikay' box - for emergency purpose like this 😅 so while the hubby, @prinsepong, is cooking, I started looking for things that I can use... by the way, those are actually recycled decors 😅 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' Banner was actually used last April, on @prinsepong's birthday and 'Banderitas' was used long time ago - I cannot remember whose birthday was that. 😅

Well, just on time, my cousin @sushiemu messaged me that they are already coming up... we are not so ready and even missed to light up the candle on the cake 🤣
