Saludos a todos! Aquellos que ya me conocen saben la música forma parte de mi ser, y no solo porque me gusta escucharla, sino porque además nací con el don de cantar. Yo he tenido alguna experiencia coral y como solista solo un poco, también he tenido de participar en obras sinfónico-corales, pero más allá de eso la música ha formado parte de mi vida.
La música nos acompaña a lo largo de nuestras vidas, podemos inclusive hacer memoria y esos recuerdos podrían ser musicales (y de comida rica también), no solo por asociarse con ensayos o presentaciones, sino por momento, emociones y experiencias.
En mi caso, hay días en que amanezco con un “loop” infinito y paso escuchando en mi mente una canción, a veces termino por cantarla a solo, para que salga y sea libre, quizás simplemente las notas desean viajar libremente y yo fui el canal emisor por eso me siento bien al hacerlo. Otras veces soy yo la que desea cantar algo y lo hago. Los que cantamos necesitamos hacerlo ocasionalmente porque eso nos equilibra, no en vano algunos dicen que la música sana. Hoy cuando leí este reto me ha gustado mucho, porque puedo mezclar mis ganas de retomar la escritura justamente escribiendo de algo que me gusta. Vamos a ver cómo me va. Cuando leí este título, quizás puede haber pensado en las varias oportunidades en las que he cantado en grupo. En alguna de las corales, porque básicamente muchas de mis amistades y amigos han surgido de esta actividad extracurricular que ha formado parte de mi vida desde hace muchos años.
Sin embargo, enseguida y sin el menor esfuerzo vinieron dos momentos de mi vida en forma de recuerdos. Estas imágenes y sensaciones completamente nítidas se manifestaron. La primera fue en la fiesta de graduación de algunos de mis amigos. No habíamos entrado juntos a la universidad, pero cuando uno hace amigos aunque ya se haya graduado, sigue de cerca y espera y celebra el cumplimiento de las metas de todos. Ya yo era profe, pero aún con esa alma de estudiante, la cual por cierto aún conservo. Todos los ya graduados además de la ropa de fiesta llevábamos nuestras medallas como una joya a lucir y creo que así debe ser. Nos abrazamos en un círculo y cantamos “We are te champions” de Queen. Aunque la he cantado varias veces. Recuerdo especialmente una oportunidad en la isla de Margarita en Venezuela, cuando estaba de vacaciones la pusimos a sonar y cada uno desde donde estaba la cantó a viva voz, recuerdo que como estábamos entre tragos la hicimos sonar la menos veces. Me gusta esta canción porque expresa cierta irreverencia y hace referencia a la vida que pese a que a veces no es tan feliz o tan sencilla simplemente vale la pena vivirla y, a como algunos simplemente decidimos vivirla aunque no cumplamos con ciertos supuestos sociales . Greetings to all! Those who already know me know that music is part of my being, and not only because I like to listen to it, but also because I was born with the gift of singing. I have had some choral experience and as a soloist only a little, I have also had to participate in symphonic-choral works, but beyond that music has been part of my life.
Music accompanies us throughout our lives, we can even make memories and those memories could be musical (and of delicious food too), not only because they are associated with rehearsals or performances, but because of moments, emotions and experiences.
In my case, there are days when I wake up with an infinite "loop" and I spend listening to a song in my mind, sometimes I end up singing it alone so that it comes out and is free, maybe just the notes want to travel freely and I was the transmitter channel so I feel good to do it. Other times I am the one who wants to sing something and I do it. Those of us who sing need to do it occasionally because it balances us, it is not for nothing that some say that music heals. Today when I read this challenge I liked it a lot because I can mix my desire to resume writing precisely by writing about something I like. Let's see how I do. I hope you like it.

When I read this title, perhaps you may have thought of the several times I have sung in a group. In some of the choirs, because basically many of my friendships and friendships have arisen from this extracurricular activity that has been a part of my life for many years.
However, immediately and without the slightest effort came two moments of my life in the form of memories. These completely sharp images and sensations manifested themselves. The first was at the graduation party of some of my friends. We had not entered college together, but when you make friends even though you have already graduated, you follow closely and look forward to and celebrate the accomplishment of everyone's goals. I was already a teacher, but still with that student soul, which by the way I still have. All of us graduates, in addition to our party clothes, wore our medals as a jewel to show off, and I believe that this is the way it should be. We hugged each other in a circle and sang "We are the champions" by Queen. We felt triumphant and those friends were joining in new experiences.

Another song I remembered was "Al lado del camino" by Fito Paez one of my favorite singer-songwriters. Although I have sung it several times. I especially remember an opportunity on the island of Margarita in Venezuela, when I was on vacation we played it and everyone was singing it loudly, I remember that as we were between drinks we played it the least number of times. I like this song because it expresses a certain irreverence and makes reference to life that even though sometimes it is not so happy or so simple, it is simply worth living it, and how some of us simply decide to live it even if we do not comply with certain social assumptions.
