Happy Sunday my fellow creators on steemit, I was opportune to take my son to their graduation/cultural day, I have not worn wrapper before apart from my traditional wedding day, so today I decided to go really African just like the African woman I am, I wore my wrapper and my buba blouse and also did some other adornment, my son was also all dressed up with wrapper and chieftaincy cap and shirt, he looked like my father back in those days he used to attend traditional meetings.

Others were admiring my little boy and how he was so handsome. I was so proud of him that he came out second position in a class of 28 and he is here to graduate from creche to upper nursery. Going out with him on his big day reminded me of those days my mom used to take us to any events in our school and we will look all porched up so I recreated same with my little boy.

When we reached the school, we were asked to take off the call so that he can wear his graduation gown and join the procession queue. I watched my son marched majestically with other pupils and he was asked to lead the line, this moment was all I have been praying for even when I was still a spinster.

When they were done with their procession, they received their oath and then the graduation ceremony was done properly the ones in Primary 6 were being send-forth and gifts were being given to them, the overall best students was given a gift and also given a scholarship to school in the secondary school of his choice and one day I am hoping to also see my son win that even more than that.

When the graduation rites were done, their graduation gown were taken from them and they returned to their native wear, these pupils were all glittering and glamouring, you can't help but thank God for still giving their parents and guidance money to take care of them. I took some pictures with my boy, I took hard copy and also took some soft copies that happened to be selfies.

After the event ended by 4pm, we were all tired, even me I was very tired because taking care of this boy and helping the teachers to look after these kids was such a blessing yet a hectic work for that matter. So we got back to the house and we had our bath and rested, I notified my hubby that we were back home so that he could have rest of mind.

When we got woke up from sleep, I began to prepare something for dinner because I knew hubby will be coming back early because he left very early before we could even wake up. I prepare spaghetti with the tomatoes paste my husband did, oh, I forgot to tell you that hubby can do tomato paste.

Immediately I put the pot down from the gas, he was already back and I dished it then we ate it together, luckily for me the electric light came and I charged my low battery phone and then used it and wrote about my day in steemit before I slept and rested again for the day.
