How is my pretty Steem community doing today? It's already Tuesday and my day off is finally here so I come to share with you the delicious recipe that I make at home with my dear love @franqueff. My mother-in-law @olyarzo worked for a while on a farm where grapes and apples were harvested, after the harvest she brought many apples home, so many, that our fridge in the vegetable section is only there packed with delicious apples. Due to this we have decided to experiment in different ways of eating the apple (to avoid losing them), in this case we make ***apples in syrup***, which can even be preserved for a long period of time, soon I will be showing you the delicious recipe for our first apple pie.

¿Qué tal se encuentra hoy mi comunidad bonita Steem? ya es Martes y por fin llego mi día libre así que vengo a compartirles la deliciosa receta que realice en casa junto a mi querido amorcito @franqueff. Mi suegra @olyarzo trabajo un tiempo en una finca donde se cosechaban uvas y manzanas, luego de la recolección trajo muchas manzanas a casa, tantas, que nuestra nevera en la sección de verduras solo esta repleta de ricas manzanas. ***Los ingredientes:*** 1. 4 manzanas grandes. 2. 200 gr de azúcar. 3. canela en ramas. 4. clavitos de olor. 5. agua. 6. Envase de vidrio con tapa metálica.

***First step:*** With the potato peeler or a simple knife we peel all the apples, then we open them in the middle and remove the twig and the core of the apple with the seeds. When the apple is completely clean, we chop it into several pieces that are not too thick.

***Primer paso:*** Con el pelador de papas o un simple cuchillo pelamos todas las manzanas, luego las abrimos por el medio y retiramos la ramita y el corazón de la manzana con las semillas. Cuando la manzana esta limpia totalmente, la picamos en varios trozos que no sean muy gruesos. ____

***Second step:*** In a pot appropriate for the amount of apples that we chop, we place them inside together with the sugar and we add water that does not cover or exceed the apples. Then we cover the pot and when boiling, we stir constantly to prevent any apple from sticking to the bottom. The cooking time depends on the taste of each person in relation to the thickness they are looking for in the syrup, that is, if you like it more diluted when you see the apples turn a yellow and transparent color, turn it off, otherwise you expect a greater thickness to be achieved in the liquid of our dessert.

***Segundo paso:*** En una olla apropiada para la cantidad de manzanas que picamos, las colocamos dentro junto con la azúcar y le agregamos agua que no cubra o sobrepase las manzanas. Luego tapamos la olla y al hervir, revolvemos constantemente para evitar que cualquier manzana se pegue al fondo. El tiempo de cocción depende del gusto de cada persona en relación al espesor que buscan en el almíbar, es decir si le gusta mas diluido al ver las manzanas tornarse un color amarillo y transparente lo apaga, de lo contrario espera que se logre mayor espesor en el liquido de nuestro postre. ____

***Third step:*** When the apple is properly cooked, add the cinnamon sticks and cloves, if they cook for a long time, they impregnate a very strong flavor, so try to add them almost last. In a large pot, we place the large glass container with a metal lid, letting it boil for at least 10 minutes to sterilize it. Then you remove it from the heat and put the apples in syrup still hot in the sterile container. Being careful not to burn yourself, you seal the jar and it is ready to store ***even for several years.***

***Tercer paso:*** Cuando la manzana ya tenga una cocción adecuada, se agregan las ramitas de canela y los clavitos de olor, si se cocinan por mucho tiempo, impregnan un sabor muy fuerte, así que trata de agregarlos casi al final. En alguna olla grande, colocamos el recipiente de vidrio grande con tapa metálica dejándolo hervir por al menos 10 minutos para esterilizarlo. Luego lo retiras del fuego e introduces las manzanas en almíbar aun calientes en el recipiente estéril. Con cuidado de no quemarte sellas el frasco y ya esta listo para almacenar ***incluso por varios años.*** ___

At this point you can eat what you have left over or even skip step three if you want to consume it after doing it, this recipe can be made on a larger scale and leave our apples canned to have all year. I really liked making it, it takes a couple of minutes and they are an excellent snack with a cookie or even white bread, I recommend making this easy and long-lasting recipe.

En este punto lo que te sobre puedes comerlo o incluso saltarte el paso tres si quieres consumirlo luego de hacerlo, esta receta se puede hacer a mayor escala y dejar nuestras manzanas en conservas para tener todo el año.
