Un modelo único, que hizo historia para la gran empresa, sinónimo de lujo, clase y dinero.... así es hablo de la gran Ferrari, El Ferrari 156 era un coche de carreras fabricado por Ferrari en 1961 para cumplir con las nuevas regulaciones de Fórmula Uno que reducían el desplazamiento del motor de 2.5 a 1.5 litros, similar a la clase de Fórmula Dos anterior a 1961 para la cual Ferrari había desarrollado un motor intermedio. coche con motor también llamado 156 F2.

The 1961 version was lovingly nicknamed and was known as "shark nose" because of its characteristic "nostril" air intake. So Ferrari's factory policy inevitably saw that all of the remaining 156 sharks were scrapped at the end of the 1963 season. However, such 156 is on display at the "Ferrari Gallery" [5] in Maranello, probably a replica. A similar intake duct style was applied to the five SP series Ferraris [6] in 1961 and 1962, which were also designed by Carlo Chiti, and then more than forty years later on the Ferrari 360.

The updated Ferrari 156, used in the 1963 and 1964 seasons, did not feature the distinctive shark nose design.
