I hated field expeditions... just the thought of being bitten by thousands of insects gave me the creeps, but it was part of my job as a journalist. Go where they send me and bring a story that sells in social media. A long journey of 24 hours, arriving at a ruined, abandoned city where there is possibly no drinking water, no life, no food and with a high possibility of radiation or something harmful to our health, was definitely not attractive. The work team consisted of the cameraman and a paramedic who was included "just in case" since we were going to be alone in a place that became inhospitable with time.

Family and friends always thought that I was too risky a person, for accepting risky jobs, but the truth is that I have an urgent need to challenge myself all the time, it's like being in a constant search for something that I don't even know what it is. Besides, the need to be paid through your work and to be able to support yourself, is bigger than everything... Duty and necessity go hand in hand. Going to that place terrifies me, and the same fear drives me to go. What will be left there, will there be life? I want to sell my story, the press wants to draw the attention of researchers and scientists, to the place or perhaps remind us, of how capable we are when we seek to destroy each other.

Finally we arrived at the place, I was impressed, about 3 months ago this place was full of life and human activity. Today it has been reclaimed by the mother of all... Mother Nature, has covered the buildings with her greenery. I am not a scientist, but it seems that here human pollution was claimed and swept away by nature. I appreciate the world's ability to cleanse itself and detoxify itself from harmful human activities. I find myself in a dilemma, since I now argue between my conscience and my work, do I make this fact public, do I make it public that this can be habitable again and that they can return and continue to turn this place into a pigsty, I think that for the first time in my life I breathed pure air and I did not care about the insects or their bites. By the looks of the paramedic and the cameraman, as if they were feeling and thinking the same as me, so we dedicated ourselves to walk and marvel with the animals, with so much greenery and beauty that showed us mother nature and the balance she found to harbor healthy life.

We met in a very beautiful clearing and the three of us said that we would not make this public and that otherwise we would say that the place is very toxic and uninhabitable and highly dangerous, that we could not even take pictures or anything, because we realized how really harmful we can be to the world itself, to the animals, to Mother Nature and how unfriendly we are to her. We will make a campaign promoting respect and balance for nature and animals. We must be friendly to.. ## The mother of all...
