Hello everyone
As soon as I saw the theme for Week 4 Time Travel & Twists — one movie still rumored its name in my heart" Your Name"( Kimi no Na wa).
I watched it over this week, and precisely like the first time, it forsook me with depressing eyes, a isolated smile, and the outlandish sentiment of having called a reminiscence I noway lived and eventually, anywise, deeply grasped.
A Story Written About Stars
Your Name is n't your typical time- trip film. It does n’t involve machines or scientific propositions. rather, it's tender, magical, and wrapped in the fabric of dreams, recollections, and a red thread of fate.
The tale follows two teenagers — Taki, a young energetic boy in diligent Tokyo, and Mitsuha, a demoiselle from a dovish rustic vill termed Itomori. One morning, they waken up to discover they've substituted generalities. Confused and frustrated at first, they sluggishly begin to understand each other’s lives and make a connection across distance and time.
They leave notes, tease each other, and begin to watch deeply — within ever meeting face to face.
And also the body switching suddenly stops.
Taki, hopeless to find Mitsuha, sets out on a trip. What he discovers oscillations everything.

The Time Twist
currently, then’s where the twisting hits and hits slavishly.
Mitsuha’s vill, Itomori, was destroyed three times ago by a comet. The girl he was switching places with had formerly failed. The time trip was n’t passing in real- time. It was a ground across times — an emotional echo.
When Taki realizes this, everything you allowed
you understood falls piecemeal. The love story becomes a race against time — literally. Taki must ever reach into the history to save Mitsuha and her people before the comet falls.
I still flash back the chills I felt the first time I saw this part. I broke the picture and precisely set in stillness.
The way the story transitions from comforting to hopeless — from gladdening to heartbreaking — is so smooth and masterful that it nearly hurts.

The Red Thread of Fate
The theme of connection is beautifully shown through a red strip — passed from Mitsuha to Taki. In Japanese culture, this symbolizes the unnoticeable thread that ties two people fated to meet.
Indeed when the time trip ends, indeed when they forget each other’s names, commodity in their hearts keeps searching.
And that final scene — when their eyes meet again, times latterly — it’s one of the most important, wordless reunions in cinema.
They do not know why, but they ask, “ Have we met ahead? ”
Tears. Every time.
Reflection
Your Name is n’t just about time travel. It’s about how souls can find each other, indeed across times and continuances. It's about how fate remembers what we forget, and how some people are meant to be in our lives, no matter how important time tries to pull them down.
It reminded me that devotedness is n't continually booming — here and there it's sheltered, inexplicable, but authentic.
My Final Thoughts
still, Your Name is that film, If you are looking for a time- trip movie that does n’t just play with your mind but touches your heart.
It's a visual lyric — filled with sky- colored dreams, bittersweet moments, and a twist that turns the story from fantasy into commodity indelible.
