It is my pleasure to share with you here at RECREATIVE STEEM in the LET'S TALK ABOUT RANCHERA MUSIC Contest . To begin, I want to point out that Música Ranchera is, only one type, of the traditional and popular Mexican musical genre that is quite linked to the music that is interpreted with the Mariachis musical format, although it is also very common for it to be performed in any other format of Mexican Creole music. This type of music takes its name from the ranch lands where it was initially performed, and represents the vernacular, the traditional, the Creole and the popular of the beautiful and diverse Mexican culture. Here I present a song that was immortalized by the legendary Mexican singer and actor Jorge Negrete, it is about "Ojos tapatíos". The song belongs to the genre of music that we have already mentioned and it was composed in the year 1913 by the Zamorano musician and composer Fernando Mendez Velásquez, the letter belongs to the poet born in "Aguas Calientes" José Francisco Elizondo Sagredo. In this song you can appreciate the beautiful poetic and musical feeling of its creators, when describing, with a personal deep local regional imprint the beauty of the big, almond-shaped eyes of the beautiful Guadalajara woman born in the State of Guadalajara. This beautiful qualitative detail is reflected in this beautiful Mexican song that has also been performed by other great music stars such as El Mariachis "Vargas", Pedro Infante, Alejandro Fernández, Humberto Craviota, Carlos Alcalá, Astro Rey, among others. Es un placer para mi compartir con ustedes aquí en RECREATIVE STEEM en el Concurso HABLEMOS DE MÚSICA RANCHERA. Para iniciar, quiero señalar que, la Música Ranchera es, solo un tipo, del género musical mexicano tradicional y popular popular que está bastante ligado a la música que se interpreta con el formato musical del Mariachis, aunque también es muy común que se interprete en cualquier otro formato de la música criolla mexicana. Este tipo de música toma su denominación de las tierras de los ranchos en los que se interpretaba inicialmente, y representa lo vernáculo, lo tradicional, lo criollo y lo popular de la hermosa y diversa cultura mexicana. Aquí les presento una canción que fue inmortalizada por el legendario cantante y actor mexicano Jorge Negrete, se trata de "Ojos tapatíos". La canción pertenece al género de música que ya referimos y fue compuesta el año 1913 por el músico y compositor zamorano Fernando Mendez Velásquez, la letra pertenece al poeta nacido en "Aguas Calientes" José Francisco Elizondo Sagredo. En esta canción se puede apreciar el bello sentimiento poético y musical de sus creadores, al describir, con una personal honda huella local regional la belleza de los ojos grandes y almendrados de la hermosa mujer tapatía nacida en el Estado de Guadalajara. Este hermoso detalle cualitativo se ve plasmado en esta bella canción mexicana que ha sido interpretada, ademas, por otras grandes estrellas de la música como, El Mariachis "Vargas", Pedro Infante, Alejandro Fernández, Humberto Craviota, Carlos Alcalá, Astro Rey, entre otros.
