### Como miembro de la comunidad Steem, ¿Qué mejora le gustaría ver en la plataforma social Steemit.com?
Para iniciar, quiero hacer referencia al maravilloso y auténtico reto, auspiciado por @steemitblog: _"Steemit Crypto Academy"_, un espacio dedicado al estudio de la criptografía de la mano de un grupo calificado de profesores quienes brindan asesoría y asignan tareas a los concursantes. Hago la cita anterior, debido a que desde hace algún tiempo había pasado por mi mente una idea semejante, la cual no habría dudado en proponer a [Steemit.com](https://steemit.com/), por considerarlo una mejora para la plataforma en cuanto a creación de contenido, motivación y adquisición de conocimiento. Tomando en cuenta las virtudes y fallas, así como los proyectos en ejecución o las propuestas hechas por algún desarrollador. Invertir tiempo y recursos en el impulso de nuevas DApps, constituye una de las mejores propuestas en la actualidad. Recordemos que toda mejora parte de la actitud, emprendimiento, la formulación de propuestas y la búsqueda de los caminos para materializar las soluciones u objetivos planteados. En tal sentido, las DApps buscan facilitar el acceso a los productos ofrecidos por la plataforma, así como, una mayor interoperabilidad del sistema para hacer la experiencia de usuario más plena y atractiva.

# En mis inicios en la plataforma en el año 2018 participé consecutivamente en un writing contest relacionado con criptografía, el cual era patrocinado por @originalworks. Desde aquel entonces me dediqué a estudiar el área de criptomoneda y blockchain con gran entusiasmo, lo cual se mantiene hasta el día de hoy. Me gustaría ver más iniciativas de este tipo, tal vez auspiciadas por diversas comunidades que se sumen a la causa, las cuales puedan contribuir con su esfuerzo a que el usuario promedio se prepare en esta área fundamental para quienes trabajamos en un ecosistema descentralizado. # ##### "Trabajar en **Blockchain**, demanda una preparación constante y amplio conocimiento en diversas áreas. El tema de cifrado está implícito en cada uno de los pasos que damos dentro del ecosistema, ya que, se trata de un sistema tokenizado donde se reciben recompensas en criptomoneda, por tanto, todos deberíamos comprender a fondo el funcionamiento de esta tecnología para así aprovechar al máximo su potencial." # ![A1.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmcu2Vd8s3pcZk1xmJEmhCMRdPsgwuxu1fTt3CVw6wPJmW/A1.png)
#### Uso de "Downvote" (Mejoras) # Luego de tomarme un tiempo en analizar el objetivo que persigue el **Downvote**; he concluido que esta opción permite a todo usuario de [Steemit](https://steemit.com/), calificar negativamente, algún post el cual se considere que ha trasgredido las reglas pautadas por la plataforma. Es una forma de colaborar activamente con la depuración de contenido de baja calidad, falso, ofensivo, que haya cometido plagio, duplicación de cuentas o alguna otra falta que se considere "Grave" y pueda atentar contra el bienestar del ecosistema. # https://www.studizytig.ch/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/vote-1804596_1920-750x368.jpg_{[fuente de imagen](https://www.studizytig.ch/sub-seiten/ab-an-die-urne/)} # * ##### El problema: # Muy bien, así fue que comprendí el verdadero uso y la utilidad de esta _acción_ (Downvote), disponible para todo usuario. Una manera descentralizada de colaborar con las autoridades encargadas de la supervisión de plataforma en cuanto al manejo de contenido. Aun, puedo ver ciertos usuarios que hacen uso desproporcionado de este mecanismo de depuración, incluso, también es usado sin ninguna justificación o base técnica. De hecho, he escuchado de personas que lo usan como una forma de decir: **"No me gusta"**, siendo ésta, una de las peores interpretaciones que se le haya podido conferir al Downvote. # * ##### Solución: # > Mi propuesta para este tópico es la publicación de artículos que puedan hablar acerca del Downvote, a través de las diversas comunidades; Cuál es su verdadero uso, contribuciones, pros y contras. Algún contenido que pueda ser anclado (Pinned) en el panel, que invite a leer las normas de publicación y todo lo referente al Downvote. También creo que sería justo emitir un reporte frecuente (Podría ser una edición semanal), el cual recopile los Downvotes emitidos en la comunidad y que a su vez refleje al detalle la naturaleza de falta cometida por el usuario y de allí el motivo por el cual se le haya aplicado el voto negativo. De hecho, pienso, según opinión propia, que el usuario que emita el Downvote debería estar obligado a dejar una notificación, tal vez, en la bandeja de comentarios de la publicación involucrada, la cual justifique su acción. # ##### De esta forma creo que el Downvote mejoraría su función y usos, sería algo más "justo" al ser aplicado, a la vez que el usuario se educa y crece en cuanto al manejo de las herramientas con las cuales cuenta la plataforma. # ![A1.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmcu2Vd8s3pcZk1xmJEmhCMRdPsgwuxu1fTt3CVw6wPJmW/A1.png) # #### Existen acciones dentro de la Blockchain, las cuales nunca acaban, efectivamente, siempre se deben innovar.
* ##### Marketing permanente: # Otra mejora, que me gustaría ver en la plataforma es la campaña activa de promoción a través de las redes sociales. Si bien, se ha cumplido con una gran tarea hasta ahora en base a este tema, de igual forma, considero que se deben agotar los esfuerzos por llegar a más gente aún, con intención de ampliar la demografía. ### ¿Qué otras características, herramientas, mejoras y funcionalidades cree que beneficiarán la experiencia del usuario y mejorarán la usabilidad de la plataforma social Steemit.com?
Antes que nada debo hacer referencia a que [Steemit.com](https://steemit.com/), es una plataforma en constante evolución, cuya interfaz cuenta con las herramientas necesarias para complacer los gustos del usuario y adaptarse a sus demandas. Es notable que el equipo organizativo detrás del ecosistema es capaz de tomar en cuenta hasta el más mínimo detalle para mantenerse actualizados y en firme renovación. Desde la conformación de las comunidades hasta la distribución de recompensas; desde la formulación de normas de comportamiento interno hasta la toma de decisiones de los testigos, demuestran ser excelentes y doctas. Se encargan de mantener al usuario bien informado, así como, comprometido con las actividades desarrolladas haciéndole gozar del mayor sentido de pertenencia, de forma tal, que su experiencia en Steem blockchain es completa y generadora de confianza.

# * ##### Integración Steemit-Tron # > Cabe destacar, que la integración **Steemit-Tron** ha sido todo un éxito para la comunidad. Incrementando de algún modo la adopción del **TRX** en el comercio virtual. En la actualidad, el pago de recompensas en **SBD**, también ha sido un logro que viene a fortalecer el ecosistema, dejando gran satisfacción en el usuario quién se ve mayormente favorecido con las ganancias, dado que la tendencia alcista del **SBD** ha alcanzado niveles satisfactorios que permiten ampliar las expectativas del usuario, impactando positivamente sobre la frecuencia de publicación, la cual es cada vez mayor, así como, el emprendimiento de nuevos proyectos personales. ![A1.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmcu2Vd8s3pcZk1xmJEmhCMRdPsgwuxu1fTt3CVw6wPJmW/A1.png)
#### ¿Cómo puedo contribuir con algunas propuestas para mejorar [Steemit.com](https://steemit.com/)? # Luego de este pequeño resumen de avances alcanzados por [Steemit.com](https://steemit.com/) a lo largo del último año, puedo decir, según mi opinión personal, que siempre habrán detalles que afinar a nivel de plataforma, sin embargo, son más los avances y el progreso técnico que he visto, que las mejoras que se puedan añadir. # Como una pequeña contribución de mi parte, voy a mencionar algunos aspectos los cuales serían útiles al momento de usar la interfaz de **Steemit.com**:
* **Editor de texto**: Recomendaría agregar un contador de palabras donde poder visualizar al detalle el número de caracteres del contenido desarrollado. De esta forma llevaríamos un control instantáneo de la densidad de nuestro contenido (En cuanto a número de palabras), sin tener la necesidad de recurrir a una herramienta externa o documento que muestre tal conteo, por ejemplo, un documento de Word o un Word Counter externo. Creo que sería de gran utilidad para los creadores de contenido que participan frecuentemente en concursos, los cuales exigen como lineamiento de redacción, un límite determinado de palabras para poder suscribir. De esta manera, los usuarios ahorrarían tiempo y gozarían de mayor concentración al tener las herramientas necesarias en un solo lugar, entre otros usos. # * **SMT (Smart Media Token)**: Está claro, que los _smart media tokens_ están asociados a un determinado nicho o tribu construida bajo la arquitectura de Steem blockchain. La utilidad de estos tokens, así como, su intercambio a través de Steem-engine es una de las tantas innovaciones que hemos podido disfrutar desde hace algún tiempo, de hecho, la gran parte de los SMT aun se encuentran activos en el mercado, también alguna fracción importante de éstos, han decaído gradualmente en cuanto a valor. Para esta ocasión, quería mencionar que tal vez, y solo tal vez, debería existir en la actualidad una estrategia que permita la mayor exposición de estos sitios o que se considere involucrar mayormente el pago de recompensas con la diversa gama de tokens SMT existentes. He podido notar, que el valor de algunas de estas fichas se ha reducido, tal vez, sea por falta de programación o algún problema de logística de las tribus. En tal sentido, me gustaría que se mejorara la participación de estas comunidades lo cual podría incidir directamente en el valor del activo virtual, llegando a más usuarios y trayendo movilidad a la economía de Steem blockchain. Tal vez, con una nueva campaña de relanzamiento que pueda incluir airdrops, recompensas por tareas, organización de concursos, Marketing, entre otros, podrían levantar el auge de los SMT. # ![A1.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmcu2Vd8s3pcZk1xmJEmhCMRdPsgwuxu1fTt3CVw6wPJmW/A1.png)
* **Inclusión de TRX en el mercado interno Steemit.com**: Creo que sería una gran ventaja incluir los Tokens TRX en el mercado interno de la billetera de Steemit. Claro está, dicha herramienta está diseñada para el intercambio de STEEM-SBD, y puedo entender que su función es permitir la afluencia de intercambios de este par dentro del ecosistema, contemplando los parámetros de seguridad, interoperabilidad y confianza generados por Steem blockchain. Haciendo uso de la billetera asociada a la cuenta de usuario para mayor control de activos desde un solo sitio. STEEM es la moneda nativa de Steem blockchain, su diseño y utilidad guarda total compatibilidad con el SBD. Yo pienso que los desarrolladores podrían hacer el intento de crear un espacio para operar con TRX, en el mercado interno. Según mi propia opinión, el intercambio directo de STEEM-TRX, a través de la billetera asociada a nuestra cuenta de usuario representaría una herramienta útil y con alta demanda. De hecho, la integración Steemit-Tron demuestra ser una iniciativa 100% asertiva desde el primer momento, por tanto, alguna evolución del sistema como la mejora que acabo de apuntar, de seguro haría de la plataforma Steemit un sistema más adaptable. Cabe destacar, que las herramientas TronLink, TronScan, son excelentes, ofrecen soluciones afines y la posibilidad de intercambio de TRX con otros pares, sin embargo, segun mi propia experiencia y consultas previas con algunos usuarios cercanos he podido notar que a todos nos gustaría tener una herramienta en la propia billetera de Steemit que permita operar con STEEM-TRON, directamente y desde una sola interfaz. Esto implicaría el ahorro de tiempo y dinero, así como, también incrementaría la adopción y confiabilidad. # * **Chat Steemit**: He notado que los usuarios recurren a plataformas externas para el envío de mensajes, tanto para mensajes privados, como para mensajes comunitarios a través de salas de discusión. Es notable que la actividad de publicación genera muchas críticas, consultas, solicitud de información, feedback, etc. Los cuales pueden llegar más allá de la comunicación a través de comentarios, es decir, el usuario requiere comunicarse de forma inmediata y en tiempo real. De allí surge mi idea de contar con un acceso al Chat de Steemit a través de un nemotécnico, donde se pueda acceder desde la misma interfaz con el fin de ampliar el poder comunicacional entre usuarios y hacer más efectivo el manejo de información. El servicio prestado por Discord, ha demostrado que es absolutamente necesario comunicarse activamente dentro de la plataforma y los resultados han sido excelentes. Pero, ¿Por qué no construimos un sitio semejante dentro de Steemit?. Cabe destacar, que anteriormente existía una sala de Chat en Steemit a la cual se podía acceder a través de la opción del menú, pero no sé, porque motivo en la actualidad no existe dicho acceso (Por lo menos desde mi PC no puedo visualizarlo), además, pude notar hace algún tiempo, que dicho servicio no era mayormente empleado por el usuario promedio, quienes por lo regular preferían recurrir a Discord. Debido a que no soy propietario o administrador de alguna comunidad, se me hace un tanto difícil manejar una respuesta lo suficientemente técnica. Creo que la diferencia entre una comunidad y el usuario independiente, es el desempeño de roles y la asignación de responsabilidades. Las comunidades son un trabajo grupal efectuado bajo una cierta estructura organizativa, pero muy en el fondo, cada miembro de la comunidad es de igual forma, un usuario independiente quién adicionalmente debe mantener su cuenta de usuario de manera autónoma. # > Yo opino que las comunidades deberían mantener un fondo creado por ellos mismos para almacenar o retener cierta cantidad de ganancias destinadas al pago del componente. Tal vez, el ofrecimiento de alguna herramienta administrativa diseñada especialmente para las comunidades la cual contribuya al manejo de los recursos, tanto como, a la organización de funciones, representaría una innovación gratificante para cualquier comunidad. Recordemos que las comunidades se encargan de gerenciar recursos, hacer pagos, organizar eventos, recibir delegaciones, entre otras. Según mi punto de vista, la actualización de las comunidades debería estar acompañada de algunas DApps que coadyuven a la afluencia del trabajo corporativo, emitir resultados, hacer resúmenes, informes semanales, contabilizar datos dentro de la misma blockchain, entre otras contribuciones. De igual modo, los planes y competiciones para obtener delegaciones lo suficientemente robustas que le permitan realizar efectivamente las actividaes curativas, también es otro punto que considero de gran relevancia.

### As a member of the Steem community, What improvement would you like to see on the social platform Steemit.com?
To start, I want to reference the wonderful and authentic challenge, hosted by @steemitblog: _"Steemit Crypto Academy"_, a space dedicated to the study of cryptography by the hand of a qualified group of teachers who provide advice and assign tasks to the contestants. I make the above quote, because some time ago a similar idea had crossed my mind, which I would not have hesitated to propose to [Steemit.com](https://steemit.com/), if it had been the case. #### Downvote Usage (Enhancements). # After taking some time to analyze the purpose of the **Downvote**; I have concluded that this option allows any Steemit user to negatively rate any post which is considered to have transgressed the rules set by the platform. Still, I can see certain users making disproportionate use of this debugging mechanism, even, it is also used without any justification or technical basis. In fact, I have heard of people using it as a way of saying: **"I don't like it "**, this being one of the worst interpretations that could have been conferred to Downvote. # * ##### Solution: # > My proposal for this topic is the publication of articles through the various communities that can talk about Downvote, its real use, contributions, pros and cons. While, a great task has been accomplished so far based on this theme, equally, I feel that efforts should be exhausted to reach even more people, with the intention of broadening the demographics. ### Which other features, tools, improvements, and functionalities do you believe will benefit the user experience and improve the usability of the Steemit.com social platform?
First of all I must make reference to the fact that [Steemit.com](https://steemit.com/), is a constantly evolving platform, whose interface has the necessary tools to please the user's tastes and adapt to their demands. It is remarkable that the organizational team behind the ecosystem is able to take into account even the smallest detail to stay updated and in constant renovation. From the conformation of the communities to the distribution of rewards; from the formulation of internal behavioral rules to the decision making of the witnesses, they prove to be excellent and learned. They take care to keep the user well informed, as well as, engaged with the activities developed making them enjoy the greatest sense of belonging, in such a way, that their Steem blockchain experience is complete and confidence building.

# > It is worth noting that the Steemit-Tron integration has been a success for the community. Somehow increasing the adoption of TRX in virtual trading. #### How can I contribute with some proposals to improve [Steemit.com](https://steemit.com/)? # After this small summary of progress achieved by [Steemit.com](https://steemit.com/) over the last year, I can say, in my personal opinion, that there will always be details to refine at the platform level, however, there are more advances and technical progress that I have seen, than improvements that can be added. # As a small contribution on my part, I am going to mention some aspects which would be useful when using the **Steemit.com** interface:
* **Text editor**: I would recommend adding a word counter where we can visualize in detail the number of characters of the developed content. In this way we would have an instant control of the density of our content (in terms of number of words), without having the need to resort to an external tool or document that shows such a count, for example, a Word document. I think it would be very useful for content creators who frequently participate in contests, which require as a writing guideline, a certain word limit to subscribe. In this way, users would save time and have more concentration by having the necessary tools in one place, among other uses. # * **SMT (Smart Media Token)**: It is clear that the _smart media tokens_ are associated to a certain niche or tribe built under the Steem blockchain architecture. The usefulness of these tokens, as well as, their exchange through Steem-engine is one of the many innovations that we have been able to enjoy for some time, in fact the great part of the SMT, are still active in the market, also some important fraction of these, have gradually declined in value. For this occasion, I wanted to mention that maybe, and just maybe, there should be a strategy now to allow more exposure of these sites or to consider involving more reward payments with the diverse range of existing SMT tokens. I have noticed that the value of some of these tokens has been reduced, perhaps due to lack of programming or some logistical problem of the tribes. In that sense, I would like to improve the participation of these communities which could directly impact the value of the virtual asset, reaching more users and bringing mobility to the Steem blockchain economy. Perhaps, with a new relaunch campaign that could include airdrops, task rewards, contest organization, Marketing, among others, they could lift the SMT boom. # ![A1.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmcu2Vd8s3pcZk1xmJEmhCMRdPsgwuxu1fTt3CVw6wPJmW/A1.png)
* **Inclusion of TRX in the Steemit.com internal marketplace**: I think it would be a great advantage to include TRX tokens in the internal marketplace of the Steemit wallet. Of course, such a tool is designed for STEEM-SBD exchange, and I can understand that its function is to allow the influx of exchanges of this pair within the ecosystem, contemplating the security, interoperability and trust parameters generated by Steem blockchain. Making use of the wallet associated with the user account for greater control of assets from a single site. STEEM is the native currency of Steem blockchain, its design and usability is fully compatible with the SBD. I would think that the developers could make the attempt to create a space for trading TRX, in the internal market. According to my own opinion, direct STEEM-TRX exchange, through the wallet associated with our user account would represent a useful and high demand tool. In fact, the Steemit-Tron integration proves to be a 100% assertive initiative from the very first moment, therefore, some evolution of the system as the improvement I just pointed out, would surely make the Steemit platform a more adaptable system. It should be noted, that the TronLink, TronScan tools are excellent, they offer related solutions and the possibility to exchange TRX with other peers, however, according to my own experience and previous consultations with some close users I have noticed that we all would like to have a tool in the Steemit wallet itself that allows trading with STEEM-TRON, directly and from a single interface. This would mean saving time and money, as well as increasing reliability. # * **Steemit chat**: I have noticed that users resort to external platforms for posting messages, both private messages and community messages through discussion rooms. It is noticeable that posting activity generates a lot of criticisms, queries, requests for information, feedback, etc. These can go beyond communication through comments, i.e., the user needs to communicate immediately and in real time. From there arises my idea of having an access to Steemit's Chat through a mnemonic, where it can be accessed from the same interface in order to expand the communicational power between users and make more effective the management of information. The service provided by Discord has shown that it is absolutely necessary to communicate actively within the platform and the results have been excellent. But why not build a similar site within Steemit? It should be noted that previously there was a chat room in Steemit which could be accessed through the menu option, but I do not know why there is currently no such access (at least from my PC I can not see it), in addition, I noticed some time ago that this service was not mostly used by the average user. I think the difference between a community and the independent user is the performance of roles and the assignment of responsibilities, communities are a group work performed under a certain organizational structure, but deep down, each member of the community is likewise an independent user who additionally must maintain his user account autonomously. # > I am of the opinion that communities should maintain a self-created fund to store or retain a certain amount of earnings for payment of the component. Perhaps offering some administrative tool designed especially for communities to help manage resources as well as organize functions would be a rewarding innovation for any community. Let's remember that communities are in charge of managing resources, making payments, organizing events, receiving delegations, among others. According to my point of view, the updating of communities should be accompanied by some DApps that help the affluence of corporate work, issue results, make summaries, weekly reports, count data within the same blockchain, among other contributions. Similarly, plans and competitions to obtain sufficiently robust delegations that allow you to effectively perform the curative activities, is also another point that I consider of great relevance.
