Inside the tree, an elm tree, and distant music as the leaves and branches fall. Cold blue. Is it sadness? Are we more than what's internal, melting outwards? That scorching nostalgia. Are we so vulnerable?
This symbolic decomposition we witness is the genesis. New conquests.

We are more than what we can show. Although at times it seems as if our insides are melting outward, the magma of our guts rising, leaving us invulnerable and alone. We are this symbolic decomposition that we deny. We are these blue eyes that are ceasing to see, smoke and fog.

I started with new challenges. I wanted to paint something new for myself. More details. More work hours, and new ideas. The experience was great.

I started to paint an eye, blue, the ideas came later, to discard strokes.

I used 300g A4 watercolor paper. Eleven brushes, numbers 4, 8, 3, and 1. Orange, blue, vermillion, brown, ochre, black, and white. Shuttle Art acrylic paint. 36-color edition.

It's for sure not terrible, nor ugly art. It gives a lot to looknat and the different techniques are visible.
I am not sure what you mean by saying the idea developed later since you made a sketch. Is it because it's different from what you had in mind as you started?

In a way it reminds me of mother Willow or one of those trees contacted because of their wisdom.

I believe you did discover something new. A caricature, the cuban Bob Moran or the future human.

A few leaves sprouting out of an eyebrow and the neck would make it complete though she can also stand for autumn of winter. The naked truth about the human soul. Not pretty, not appreciated for her wisdom and no longer part of the circle of life, no matter how red her lips are painted

P. S. Do you know that the older we get the smaller the lips tend to be?

Yes, as I worked, I modified things and ideas.
I just reviewed Bob Moran's collection; his vision is interesting. One thing, how does he sell his work? Digitally. Or do you buy it online and have to ship the painting?
The harsh truth about the human soul.
That turned out great. It made me want to paint something desolate.

you can find Bob Moran on Telegram. I believe he has expositions and books (?).

I assume he ships.

Indeed, there's so much vulnerability in revealing what's inside of us, yet it can be the most liberating thing ever if we do it the right way.
