Crop Rotation This is the practice of growing a sequence of diverse categories of crops in the same area across a series of growing seasons. This practice mitigates the reliance of crops on a particular set of nutrients, pest as well as weed pressure, alongside the chances of developing resistant pests and weeds. Besides being concerned with the responsibility of making certain food security among other intricate ones, other aspects exists contributing to economic growth alongside innovation and agriculture in Nigeria can enhance. The roles ordinarily attributed to the agricultural sector in a developing economy such as Nigeria are those of: 1. Composing a key source of foreign exchange earnings 2. Supplying sufficient raw materials to a developing industrial sector 3. Provision of a market for the industrial sector products 4. Constituting the main source of employment 5.
