The Diary Game: A Rainy But Fun Filled Day(11-07-2025)

Hi everyone, trust you're doing great? As for me, I was fine during the day but right now, I lack words to describe how I'm doing? I going to be as fast as I can with my diary today cos I don't want my phone to go off without updating y'all about my yesterday's activities so sit tight my guess, let's get right into it. I am Idara-abasi Sunday, but identifies here on Steemit as @purpleidy23. Yesterday though rainy was fun for me and I loved how it rolled out.

I woke up late in the morning yesterday and when I stepped out to sweep the compound, I noticed it was already swept by my neighbors and I went to the backyard to dispose my refuse and I met my people giving treatment to the chicken in our poultry farm. When I asked for the reason, they said the chickens needs drugs that will keep them from sickness and cold especially during this raining season. I told them well done and walked away since I knew nothing about rearing chicken, all I'm good at is to eat them.

I went back inside and did my chores, had my bath and did some laundry while it was raining. When I was done with all my chores, I prepared lunch. Yeah, it was afternoon already, remember I woke up late in the morning and time waits for no one. I made a quick breakfast and ate and went back to bed afterwards, I couldn't sleep so I resorted to watching clips on Facebook. There's this popular guy on Facebook who goes round putting smiles on people's faces by gifting them and taking them on nice treats, I enjoy watching his videos because I admire what he does and would love to be given such treatment.

I stayed up watching the videos for about two or more hours and by this time, it wasn't raining anymore so my friend asked that we step out for a walk around our environs as we've been indoors since morning. I love walks!!! I put on one of my friend's wear and off we went. After walking few miles away from home, we saw a chicken stand where palm wine was sold too and I asked my friend to buy it for me. We went to the chicken stand and bought the chicken, I normally don't like chewing things while walking on the road but forgot to put on that steeze yesterday because of how sweet the chicken tasted and I didn't want my friend to finish it all.

After some long hours of walk, we came across some flowers along the street and took turns in snapping pictures with it. After the picture session, we sat down to rest before taking a walk back home as it was becoming dark and cloudy. We went back to the house, had our bath and I made dinner, I remembered I didn't make any post on my blog so after our dinner, I came on here to blog.

I dropped an interesting blog for my steem mates and later went to bed smiling, it was indeed a fun-filled day. I least expected a fun Friday since it was an home day for me but it surpassed my expectation and I'm grateful for it. Thanks for engaging my fellow steemians, see you on my next post.
