The Diary Game: Moment With Kids And Resting In Thee Shop 03-07-2025

Hello ladies and gentlemen of steemit, it's your favourite friend @joychi102, the blackout our state experienced yesterday made it really had for us to even have access to internet and I could not share how the day was, please pardon me.

Everyday is a blessing to me, especially when I wake up and none of my kids are sick or even my husband and personally when I wake up without sickness, it's always something to be grateful for. So when I left the room to see how my kids were preparing for school, I met my daughter and she handed me this juice and I drank then we took selfie.

When we left the sitting room, I thought of what to prepare for breakfast so that everyone will eat and be satisfied. I had an idea to prepare fisherman soup, not really a big fisherman soup, so I went on to cook, I started with frying the meat and then added some other ingredients and food was ready.

I took the kids to school because my husband had travelled again and it was just me, the kids and my sister. When I dropped the kids off, I went back to the shop, when I arrived the shop I was shocked to see that my sister had opened it and arranged things just the way I used to, I was happy because right from when I was trekking back to the shop I had think of how to pack the things outside and now I was relieved of the stress.

My second sorry was how to buy bread especially now that my husband is not around, I just took money from the shop's safe and went to the bakery and then I bought bread, enough than will take us for two days straight then I came back to the shop and arranged them ready to be sold.

When I finished arranging the bread, I bought sachet water and restocked the shop and now I was left with nothing to worry about as everything has been handled.

In the afternoon when I checked the time, it was almost time for the kids to dismiss so I went to the school and waited for some time and when they came out I held their hands and crossed the road then took them to the house to eat their lunch and also bath so that they can join me in the shop.

I was not even selling, my daughter and my sister were the ones doing the sales while I was sitting inside the shop like big madam but I enjoyed the experience, I was even wishing other days can be like this so that I will rest while customers were being attended to.

In the evening time, we went back home after we closed the shop, when we arrived, I rushed and prepared Spaghetti and made egg sauce because everybody were hungry and the food at home wouldn't had been enough for all of us. We ate it and used juice to wash it down.

When we finished eating, I boiled enough water that will be enough for everyone and then I called my kids to bath first before I and my sister went last. I was hoping the electricity distribution company will restore light but they didn't so I had to force myself to sleep even when I was feeling bad that I was unable to share my diary.
