Hello ladies and gentlemen of steemit,your friend @joychi102 is right here again and today I am sharing a mega day, the best celebration so far in my family, because another life was added to us and we thank God for that.

Remember two months back when I told you that my little sister put to birth? Our last born put to birth again so today was the day she decided to take the child to church for dedication and we all went out to support her. I was the first among my sisters to go to the church, my sister was already looking all dazzled up with her new born baby.

Her husband is an Akwa Ibom man, Ibibio man precisely but we are from Imo State, and from the Igbo tribe, so you could see how marriage could bring people from different tribes together as one. I wouldn't say much because my sister since we were kids had been saying she wants to marry an Akwa Ibom man and name her kids Ibibio names, so she named her first daughter that was dedicated today Abasiama meaning God Loves.

When we finished with taking all the pictures outside, we went inside the church and you will from afar see the kind of love people had for her, her business associates came with all of them wearing uniform, the entire church was filled up by both the church members and guests who came to witness the event.

After the dedication, we went outside because inside the church was too stuffy and people were complaining of heat even when there were Air Conditioners and fan even with enough ventilating system but it was still the same. I went outside and sat under the canopy that was kept for guests who would be coming late.

What I like about the church is how they were snappy in everything they did. Before 11 in the morning they were done with normal church service and the dedication, so we went outside again and took this beautiful pictures, my mom even came to take pictures with the baby.

We left the church and went to my sister's house, there we were served foods and drinks, I took some take-aways for my kids that couldn't come and also to my husband. When it got dark, I helped to arrange the house, swept it and made sure it was inorder because she won't be able to do that all by herself if we had left. After that, I handed the envelope I came with to her to just manage the little token my family gave and she was happy, very happy.

When I got to the house, I gave my kids the goodies I brought back home but as the culture is, you know you still willl have to eat what you cooked at home, so I made spaghetti and egg for us to eat that night and sleep.

After we all are and finished, I bath and my husband helped bath the kids then I asked them to go and sleep while I took on to write about my Friday activities and I was able to finish that before 11 at night and posted it before I slept off.
