Hello travelers! This week we were given another spotlight by the Steem-Travelers community organized by @hive-111293 to partake in the 5th edition of the Travel Contest. As an aspiring writer and a traveler, I'm here to grab this opportunity and share with you some snapshots of my travel adventures with my friends. On this week's contest we were give chance to share about the people we met while travelling but in my case I would like to share the people I'm always with I'm travelling. > They deserve to be the highlight of this blog because they are amazing people and great of friends. Shoutout to my bestfriends @monsiou,@edrickph80 and to my other chum Tikla who is still not part of the community yet but soon he'll join us. These people are my friends from 2014 up until now and these are the same people who I love to go travelling with. Our friendship grew over the years from our trips and adventures to different places. We had experienced new things and forged our friendships together. When travelling by yourself, it can be very easy to find yourself doing very similar things in every place you visit but when I'm with my friends the experience is incredible and unpredictable! We laughed and talked a lot during our travels and of course the cost of the trip is much cheaper with people sharing.

Don't get me wrong solo backpacking is a very nice experience but if you ask me I would prefer to travel with my friends. As an extrovert, I'd love travelling to places, meeting with new people and doings things I'd never done before but of course with the company of my friends. I've known them for so long now, so there's no awkward moments with them. Its great how we can talk about whatever we want; say and do the stupidest of things and I know that they won't judge. They are my comfort zone! All those crazy ideas in our head that we planned that we will do during our trips, we can actually bring them alive through my friends. The late night talks, the beer, the music, the movie marathons, the late night swim. You name it! Whichever it is, travelling with them is never boring and is some of the best time I'll ever have. ### You'll know How Real They Are As A Friend

I would like to share with you this picture of us last October 2014 when we decided to hop on a bus without destination. This was the time when I was very troubled with work and wanted to unwind. We didnt knew where were going but one things for sure, we are going to a place somewhere together. It was a very liberating experience and I could never forget it. We decided to go to Durano Eco Farm and Spring Resort in Carmen Cebu at that day. We had picnics and enjoyed the cool waters of the spring resort. Just one to two hours drive from Cebu City, this private spring resort in Carmen has amazing eight multi-level pools. We relaxed and swam there. What's interesting is this spring is in the middle of the lush, green scenery of Carmen — perfect for chilling out while admiring the nature.

It was all fun and games until we decided to go the back of the spring resort where we were mesmerized with the beauty of a waterfalls. We were laughing and giggling until I slipped from the rocks and I almost fell into my death. If my friend @edrickph80 did not automatically grabbed my hand at that time, I would have never survived. That cliff was crazy high and at the bottom were sharp rocks! He is definitely my life saver and my guardian angel. Funny is while he was holding me we were still laughing (We shouldnt laugh right?) However we did! They are my family, the one that you love and the one that knows you better than your actual family.
