# Wakey wakey, people! 🌅

I've modified this post to be a bit more Steemit friendly but bear in mind that I would *love* to see you cross-posting and interacting on Whaleshares as well. What?! Two posts in a day? Well, this was the last day for the @cookwithus **snacks or quick bites** food challenge and I snapped pictures of my quick bite this morning that is sure seemed to be a waste not to share it, especially since we need more participants in some of these Whaleshares challenges! # [Week 38 Food Challenge](https://whaleshares.io/@cookwithus/cook-with-us-week-38-2nd-week-of-2020) ^{I actually did check to see if they had a Steemit link before I directed you off platform.} ## Here's my quick bite ![20200122_104643.jpg](https://img.whaleshares.io/wls-img/merej99/1ce213caa5f7d94df28de26d45b9150f9ec03d6d.jpeg) After my [Day 10 ACV](https://steempeak.com/lifestyle/@merej99/day-10-30-apple-cider-vinegar-challenge-vlog) drink I waited until I felt hunger and fixed myself a toasted bagel with cream cheese and tomato slice for my quick bite. This usually tides me over until about 4 PM or later until dinner time. Basically, I'm down to two meals a day with little to no snacking. ### Next food challenge As of posting this, next week's food challenge isn't published yet, but looking at their calendar the theme is ***a traditional dish from your country.*** I'm debating whether to make that a Korean dish or a traditionally American dish.

It's been a little slow on Whaleshares, but honestly, it's kind of slow everywhere. Having owned a small business and growing up in retail, plus a couple decades online, January and February are historically bad for business and slow in social circles. People are still recuperating from the holidays and it's generally cold. Around now, people are also dropping their New Year's Resolutions and slinking back to old habits.
