# This is the End of the Great Wall of China >Great Wall of China is a building that entered the category of 7 wonders of the world in 1997. The wall that has the name of the Wall of 10,000 Li is the longest building ever made by humans during the Qing Dynasty with a total length of 8,850 km wall.

It took decades from 220 - 206 BC to complete this gigantic wall. The name Laolongtou is given because the end of this wall resembles a long dragon whose head is engulfed in seawater. Visitors can climb to the top of the wall and see the panoramic view of the open sea, also visit the observation tower and a temple on it.

Changtai Tower is a two-story building with wooden and brick foundations, serving as a monitoring tower. Nereus Temple is famous for being visited by Emperors during the Qing Dynasty. The temple is where they pray to their ancestors before continuing their journey to the northeast of China.
