The Eden Project

Two huge biomes have been built in a worked out china clay pit. One biome simulates a rain forest environment and the other a Mediterranean climate. The tropical biome is the home of plants like bananas, coffee, rubber and giant bamboo. The second biome houses temperate loving plants like olives and grapes.
