@Fucho80 is his name and we've been closely in touch for the past several months.

I've learned to value him a lot and respect his work as a Pastor in a smaller town somewhere in Venezuela. ---|--- He quickly became an important part of ["project hope"](https://steemit.com/projecthope/@coach.piotr/project-hope-day-one) and many of you surely know him already by now. Recently, I've learned that his wife is about to give birth and I'm honestly terrified thinking of health conditions that may await them at the hospital. We've all witnessed our culture and mindset change within the past several years. ---|--- Tradition is being pushed out by technology and it's obvious that in larger cities relationships between parents and their kids are changing. When I was young, I've learned that having kids is the best investment for the future one can plan. I was told number of times, that once we get old there won't be anyone but our kids to look after us. And I've been wondering if this is really the case in current times? Especially when I see some developed countries, where kids are considered "goverment property" and parents are only privillaged to raise them. That surely creates a very unique mindset. I personally am not so sure about our future as parents. With the advancement of technology, smartphones, social media, IoT, 5G etc. it's hard not to realize that there will be less and less we all will have in common with our future generation. So perhaps it's the right time to ask ourselfs these few questions: - how to raise our kids? - how to ensure that they will not abandon us in the future? - do we even believe that tradition of kids taking care of their parents will still exist in the next 20-30 years?
