Amigos amantes de los videojuegos del genero de las carreras, en esta oportunidad les traigo la segunda edición del juego de carreras, específicamente del campeonato mundial de Rally, Colin McRae Rally 2.0. Anteriormente les escribí un poco sobre la primero edición de este gran juego desarrollado también por Codemas, quien se caracteriza por hacer los mejores juegos de carreras, tanto la parte de físicas como de gráficos. Colin McRae Rally 2.0, presenta lo que son los equipos, autos y eventos de las temporadas 1999 y 2000 del Campeonato Mundial de Rally (WRC), la cual es una de las categorías más emocionante que conocemos, ya que los pilotos muestran sus grandes habilidades de conducción en las diferentes superficies en las que se llevan a cabo las carreras. Los países incluidos son Kenia (grava y asfalto), Finlandia (grava y barro), Reino Unido (asfalto, barro y tierra batida), Suecia (nieve e hielo), Australia (guisante grava suelta), Japón (1 etapa en el modo de desafío), Francia (Córcega) (asfalto), Grecia (áspera tierra batida), y el Italia (asfalto).

Previously I wrote a little bit about the first edition of this great game developed also by Codemas, who is known for making the best racing games, both the physics and graphics part. Colin McRae Rally 2.0, presents the teams, cars and events of the 1999 and 2000 seasons of the World Rally Championship (WRC), which is one of the most exciting categories we know, as the drivers show their great driving skills on the different surfaces where the races take place. The countries included are Kenya (gravel and asphalt), Finland (gravel and mud), United Kingdom (asphalt, mud and clay), Sweden (snow and ice), Australia (loose gravel pea), Japan (1 stage in challenge mode), France (Corsica) (asphalt), Greece (rough clay), and Italy (asphalt).

Una de las cosas que podemos ver que es decepcionante en el juego es que sólo posee dos modos juegos, lo cual a veces es muy tedioso para los jugadores, sin embargo cada una de ella es diferente a la otra, disponiendo de cualidades únicas que hace que los usuarios quieran probar ambos. Los modos de Juegos son Arcade y Rally. ***El modo Arcade***, consiste en competir con el coche que uno desee, en cualquier de los países que se encuentran disponibles en el juego, siendo este modo muy fácil de jugar ya que los coches no tienen las reacciones incontrolables que son de esperar de máquinas de esas cilindradas. Debido a esto último es que para mi gusto este modo no es el mejor y el más divertido. El modo Rally es el más emocionante y realistas porque podemos jugar rallies individuales, tramos o incluso el campeonato completo. Este último modo es el más importante ya que tiene una alta dificultad para los jugadores y si quieren hacer los mejores tiempos debe hacer las maniobras correctas. > One of the things we can see that is disappointing in the game is that it only has two game modes, which is sometimes very tedious for players, however each one is different from the other, having unique qualities that make users want to try both. Due to this last point is that for my taste this mode is not the best and the most fun. The Rally mode is the most exciting and realistic because we can play individual rallies, sections or even the entire championship. This last mode is the most important one because it has a high difficulty for the players and if they want to make the best times they must make the right maneuvers. En lo que respecta a las físicas que es una de las cosas que es más importante en el juego, por esta ser lo que le da la sensación de realismo o no a los jugadores a la hora de conducir, el juego está bien desarrollado, tanto en la parte de la carrocería y la parte mecánica. It's so realistic that a change is made in the car's setup, it reacts in a different way than before, it can be positive or negative which could cause an accident, but that's what racing is all about. En lo que ha gráficas respecta, el juego está bien realizado para ser un juego relativamente retro, en donde se observan diferentes efectos gráficos como el fuego que sale del escape a la hora de desacelerar, las reflexiones del sol, cuando las carreras son con agua se ve bien los efectos del mismo, a la hora de derrapar si la superficie es asfalto se observa un humo y si es en tierra el polvo. Las reflexiones en los autos son buenos, sin embargo y comparado con el año anterior este tiene un punto negativo. > As far as graphics are concerned, the game is well done for being a relatively retro game, where you can see different graphic effects such as fire coming out of the exhaust when slowing down, reflections from the sun, when racing with water you can see its effects well, when skidding if the surface is asphalt you can see smoke and if it's on land the dust. The reflections in the cars are good, however and compared to the previous year this has a negative point. En la parte del sonido de Colin McRae Rally 2.0 y como la mayoría de los juegos de carreras es una de las partes destacadas. El rugido de los motores se escucha genial, con la diferenciación de esta dependiendo de la marca del coche, lo que hace que el juego sea mejor. Los efectos de sonidos como derrapes, frenazos, explosiones del tubo de escape, golpes, cristales rotos, lluvia contra el parabrisas, los mismos parabrisas, la gravilla saltando, el chirriar del asfalto, entre otras cosas es lo mejor del Juego. Además el mismo cuenta con el copiloto que le da las indicaciones a la hora de las competiciones, como la velocidad en que se deben tomar las curvas, la dirección de las curvas, cuando se debe frenar o se debe pisar el acelerador a fondo. etc. > In the sound part of Colin McRae Rally 2.0 and like most racing games it is one of the highlights. The roar of the engines sounds great, with the differentiation of this depending on the make of car, which makes the game better. The sound effects such as skidding, braking, exhaust explosions, bumps, broken glass, rain against the windscreen, the windscreen itself, gravel jumping, the squeaking of the asphalt, among other things is the best part of the game. It also has the co-pilot who gives the indications at the time of the competitions, such as the speed at which you should take the curves, the direction of the curves, when you should brake or press the accelerator fully. etc. **En conclusión**, Colin McRae Rally 2.0 es una buen videojuego, al igual que se predecesor esta posee grandes características capaces de entretener a los jugadores. Lo positivo es que las físicas son geniales, los apartados gráficos y sonoros son mucho mejor. Una de las partes que no destaco tanto es el modo de juego arcade que a mi gusto no me gusta tanto, pero este es minimizado con la incorporación del modo rally la cual es más realista y le da mucha más emoción al juego. Por todo lo dicho anteriormente es que le doy un 9.5 de puntaje de 10 a Colin McRae Rally 2.0. > **In conclusion**, Colin McRae Rally 2.0 is a good video game, like its predecessor it has great features to entertain players. The positive thing is that the physics are great, the graphics and sound sections are much better. One of the parts that do not stand out so much is the arcade game mode that I do not like so much, but this is minimized with the addition of the rally mode which is more realistic and gives much more excitement to the game.
