But a double-edged sword can have **both** favorable *and* unfavorable consequences. As defenders of liberty, the explosion of free speech (via the web) has been the single greatest tool at our disposal over the last 20 years. The internet empowered people to freely exchange information and communicate digitally, so entrepreneurs and activists are better ***equipped*** to improve our communities without gatekeepers. The good news is, the market, with its decentralized connected networks, has more brain power.
