#### After the difficulties of September October has bounced back to be a good, good month for A Dollar A Day.
#### The number of steemians donating increased by over 14%, witness supporters and delegators both continued to grow. and the big headline news was that we managed to donate our highest ever monthly total of over US$700.
#### This brings the total donated since the project restarted in May to just under US$4000. We are now well on track to reach the target of $5000 by the end of the year.
#### This was before our really special news of the month came into play.
--- #### Oracle-D, who are doing a fantastic and much needed job of bringing investment into steem, very generously donated all the liquid rewards from a series of posts they did to promote the NetCoins voting contest. #### In total this @oracle-d initiative resulted in an [amazing donation of 230 SBD](https://steemit.com/steem/@oracle-d/we-raised-229-522-sbds-for-adollaraday-charity-during-the-netcoins-contest). While some of this will go into the general daily donation fund, a significant portion of it will be set aside in a special projects fund.
#### And the cream in the coffee was that steem won the Netcoins contest which means that steem will be available for sale in a large number of retail outlets around the world. Check out @crimsonclad's recent vlog on this...

A Dollar A Day is looking forward to hearing how we might help on that project.

October saw a continual flow of incoming delegations all helping to build the voting power of the @adollaraday account. Alas with the lowering steem price the account is still short of our target of being able to give out $1 votes to the projects we support. The account vote is currently at around $0.58 from around 13,000 SP. So it looks like we will need to grow the account to around 25K SP to deliver the sought after $1 vote.
