Noteworthy in the last week

| --- | - Week over week, the number of powered up STEEM increased by about 168K SP, or 0.1%. - Over the course of the week, we saw five daily increases and no new highs in the number of staked STEEM. - The modeled value gained ground against BTC, TRX, and USD. It lost ground against ETH, LTC, and SBD. Changes ranged from -4% against LTC to +7% against TRX. - Compared to the January 1, 2023 baseline, the modeled value gained ground against BTC, TRX, and USD. It lost ground against ETH, LTC, and SBD. - This week (Sunday through Saturday) saw a total of 508K STEEM powered down, which is down by about 32% from last week's 746K STEEM (Sunday through Saturday). --- ---

We have now seen 279 consecutive days above 39%; 343 consecutive days above 37%; 470 consecutive days above 35%; and 533 straight days above ¹/₃. Will it hold above 39? Will it climb to 40%?
