Polistes versicolor is its scientific name. I found it in a room sitting on a window. It was resting there. I decided to photograph it. It's a very dangerous wasp and its sting is very painful. So i carefully approached it and tried to take some macro shots. As it was not moving i was able to get some decent shots of it. I captured it from different angles with my mobile's macro lens. Three black dots on its head look so beautiful. I have been bitten many times in the past by this wasp. The sting causes severe pain and swelling in the area. Its sting is more dangerous than that of a bee. So you have to be very careful while photographing it.
